After researching the market for a pair of headsets, I narrowed my selection to the Sony WH-1000XM3 and the Sennheiser RS 185. I went with Sony. I can use the headset with several devices so I'm not locked to only one device. They're very comfortable and great sound.

I live across one of the largest construction sites in the city of chicago and once I activate the noise cancelling feature I can't hear a thing. Sound is crisp. Long battery life. Adjustable settings with the phone app. There are no other head phones like these!

I am blown away by this. I own Bose QC 35ii and this Sony will blow it away. This takes Noise Cancellation to next level. Trust me, you have to experience it to know how good it is. Excellent noise cancellation and sound quality. Deep baas, excellent sound reproduction!! Highly recommend

I originally picked up the Mx2s, but saw that the Mx3 price was the same and decided to upgrade. Noticeable difference in bass and ultimately a solid choice for noise canceling headphones. I really like the touch control feature on the unit. Great for traveling, especially on the plane.

I have owned a slew of headphones over the years, and after a new job in an office setting I decided it was time for some of the noise cancelling variety. These have sound quality that easily matches my worn out 7506's, and the noise cancelling is simply magical. As many others have mentioned, really the only blemish on this otherwise impeccable product is the half-baked touch sensitivity, though one particular feature is also a game changer. Being able to put your hand over the right side and amplify the surrounding noise (i.e. if someone taps you on the shoulder you can put a hand over it and be able to hear them without removing them) is fantastic. I have worn these probably 4-8hrs every day since I purchased them, and once the newly released XM4's drop in price I will absolutely be buying another pair. Truly one of the best purchases I have ever made.

These headphones are the absolute best headphones I've ever had. They are comfortable to wear and have an amazing sound quality to go with it. The noise cancelling on it's own is real nice, but throw on some music and any ambient noise completely disappears.

Overall great product. The noise cancellation and audio quality are excellent. The battery life is great as advertised. Paris well to bluetooth devices. Only issue is that the device cannot select the bluetooth device it pairs to and it will always pair to my phone.

Great headphones, love the ANC. Only wish they supported multiple devices, but you need the XM4 for that. Very comfortable as well. The mic needs improvement though. Would not recommend as a gaming headset or if you use it for phone calls a lot.

Great noise canceling headphones. Makes flying so much better. I am able to losten to whatever i want without the yelling or crying while flying. Battery last so long I charge once a week if that. Works great.

So glad I bought these headphones. I travel for work and these are perfect for the job. The noise cancellation on planes is amazing. The sound quality is great. The battery life is awesome. If you fly or travel a lot and are trying to decide which headphones to get - get these!

I have multiple sets of buds and over earphones. These are my favorite. Great user interface. I use them while working out, the noise cancellation works great. The battery power is phenomenal, I have had them for 1 month and only charged once in the beginning, using them everyday.

I was a little skeptical going with over the ear headphones because my ears tend to get hot. Although they still did get somewhat warm, it hasn’t been as bad as with some previous headphones, and the sound quality is worth it. The noise cancelling works great as does the Bluetooth

I have owned beats for years, after deciding to pass on the Beats and go with Sony, I have 0 disappointment. The features on the headphones are next level, the ear panel touchpad is a great touch, the sound is incomparable, and a very comfortable fit.

SONY has not let me down with sound quality over the years and this headset does not disappoint. The ANC on these headphones is high quality and covers more than some other headsets i’ve used. Battery life is great while i’m watching movies on it.

After testing many different headphones in the store, these came away as the sound quality winner for the music I listen to. The controls are easy to use and they are comfortable to wear. The voice command ability is just icing on the cake. Very happy with this purchase.

For travel and noise cancelling these simply can't be beat. I am an android user and the App for the headphones really lets me dial in how much ambient noise i want to let in or how heavy i want the cancelling to be. I thought i would always want to have the cancelling cranked up to max but discovered i often like to let a bit of the outside noise in as it is really odd walking around without any outside noise and i often missed sounds like buses, people asking me to pass, etc.. On a purely sound standpoint these are solid performers, about as good as any wireless can be and comparison to wired phones is simply unfair as that's a different category. A little history, I initially bought some Beats noise cancelling headphones which looked great, sounded pretty good but I was really disappointed in how they handled noise and how they worked for phone calls. I assume if I had an Apple device i would have had a better experience, but i do not.

These headphones have been awesome for me. Great for my frequent flights. Do a great job of blocking out distractions and chaos and the battery lasts and eternity. Always satisfied of the sound quality from Sony. Overall very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

Much better audio quality than Beat’s Studio, and Bose Quiet Comfort headphones! The sound is very rich, the bass kicks hard (even more so when using the Sony in-app EQ). Active noise canceling is amazing, audio pass through works flawlessly, and microphones work without a fault. Only downside is that they become warm fairly quickly compared to other headphones and are not ideal for long listening times.

Love these so much. I got them for traveling on airplanes and buses to block out other noise, but I use them all the time, even outside when I'm in my yard, for traffic noise! Great sound and quality, very comfortable over my ears. Worth the investment!

These are the best wireless over ear headphones I've ever used. Sound quality is amazing, very minimal buzz from ANC when music's paused that you can't hear at all with the music going. Very long battery life. Would not imagine flying without them!
