These headphones have been awesome for me. Great for my frequent flights. Do a great job of blocking out distractions and chaos and the battery lasts and eternity. Always satisfied of the sound quality from Sony. Overall very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

I had many different brands of the noise-canceling headset but the most powerful and durable one is this product. Noise-canceling works very well. battery time is fair enough I have been using this headset for one year. So far I don't have any issues

For travel and noise cancelling these simply can't be beat. I am an android user and the App for the headphones really lets me dial in how much ambient noise i want to let in or how heavy i want the cancelling to be. I thought i would always want to have the cancelling cranked up to max but discovered i often like to let a bit of the outside noise in as it is really odd walking around without any outside noise and i often missed sounds like buses, people asking me to pass, etc.. On a purely sound standpoint these are solid performers, about as good as any wireless can be and comparison to wired phones is simply unfair as that's a different category. A little history, I initially bought some Beats noise cancelling headphones which looked great, sounded pretty good but I was really disappointed in how they handled noise and how they worked for phone calls. I assume if I had an Apple device i would have had a better experience, but i do not.

I purchased these for my daughter, who compared Bose Quiet Comfort and Sony WH 1000X. She felt the Sony were more comfortable to wear as she has glasses. The sound quality is excellent with music, and she uses with Apple Mac and also Apple TV.

Sony has finally nailed it with the 3rd try for this headphone line up. As who loved MDR-1000X until it's headband broke within a month, I would say the sound got better, build got better, and removed unnecessary parts to make it simple. I am using this headphone to commute and adaptive NC is a must. I can listen to music clearly without all the noise but the ones I need to be alert on the street. Then it completely shuts off all noise when I sit down and rest, so only thing I hear is the music. Only con I can come up with this headphone is that it feel tad hard on the top of my head. The way they had it on MDR-1000X was much better for me. However, this does not mean that the headphone's uncomfortable for everyone. It's just how my head is shaped is the reason. soooo I'd say even this isn't a negative side of this product. All in all, nice NC headphone to have if you like how sony cans sound.

These are some of the best NC headphones in the market. The NC is absolutely phenomenal. The sound quality is also excellent and they are so comfortable to wear for long hours. No complaints about these whatsoever.

I don’t think there is a better set of headphones on the market! Bought this for my daughter so she could study without worry of the noise around her. The noise cancelling function is incredible! The comfort and ease of use is amazing as well.

Used these on a trip that included a total of 21 hours of flying time. They perform as advertised and the battery lasted the whole trip without needing a charge. You can definitely tell the difference in ambiance sound and non ambient sound and noise cancellation.

I was hesitant because of the price but glad I bought it. The ANC is superb and the sound is crystal clear (thanks to the equilizer). Super comfortable after wearing for hours and the battery life is astounding! Def. give them a try if you’re looking for headphones in this category.

I love these headphones, they fit so well on my head and ears. The noise cancelling shuts the outside world out so you can enjoy your music and podcasts. Battery life is great and it includes a carry case that keeps the headphones secure.

I love the Sony WH-1000XM3, they Mid and a High was so clear and The Bass is really is Bumping!!!! I tried the Skullcandy crushers but I fell the Sony WH-1000XM3 has better sound quality.Its so comfortable to wear on your but not tight enough for the gym.

I purchased my head phones about a year ago. Awesome Sound, Very Comfortable and Battery life is amazing. In fact, I have only charged mine about three times in the past year. A couple weeks ago, my battery was at 30% so I decided to re-charge. After several attempts, with various cores and powder hubs, and re-sets, my head phones would not accept a charge. Yesterday, I was able to take them back to where I purchased, and yes my warranty ran out the week before. If you purchase these head phones, you may want to consider the extended warranty plan that is available. I loved the Quality Sound of these head phones, I only wish the Quality would have been as Sound.

Highly recommended product!! Bought for a trip out of the country and definitely helped with the 10hr flight. Very comfortable, great battery life, nice sleek look. ANC is awesome as well. ANC drowned out the plane engine and loud airport chatter. Well worth the money!!!

The sound from this headset is excellent, but the price to performance / capability for me was not worth it. If this is the best noise cancelling headset on the market it sure doesn’t seem much better than the Bose, beats, or set of earplug type of headset...not $300+ good. The aptx works nicely minimizing the lag when watching videos either on my phone or on a tv paired with a Bluetooth transmitter. Connection range is good, but why no multi-device support?! It’s a real pain having to pair, unpair, then pair up my phone, tv, and computer. What a mess especially when just about every other high end earphone can do that. The headset is comfortable, but then starts getting sweaty feeling from the ear cup material. Wait for the next version and buy a cheaper comparable headset in the meantime

What can I say.... Noise Cancelling: Great! Sound quality: Great! Battery Life: AMAZING. Comes with a great carrying case for easy travel and protection on the go. My go-to headphones for serious or casual music consumption of all genres.

The noise cancellation feature on these headphones are great. When you are watching videos it does a good job of blocking out noise around you. If you are using the headphones just for noise canceling feature to study or concentrate on something, they also do a good job to block noise around you out. The sound that the headphones produce is great. I didn’t have a chance to test the battery life of the headphones, or the range.

Purchased and used twice on a 10hrs flight. I can only compare it to the more expensive B&W that had a much weaker noise cancellation, had a high background noise when wired and a faulty battery that couldn’t be replace. I found extremely useful the touch controls. Worth the cost!

Great headphones! Easy to connect to bluetooth! Noise cancelling -- nice to use when cutting the grass or want to block out other outside noise. Easy volume control. Easy to answer phone from headphones while playing music. Comfortable.

Extremely comfortable headphones. Sound quality is top notch. They get a bit warm after wearing for a long time. Noise canceling works outstanding. Used them at a Monster Truck show and, minus when the noise got to an extremely high level, they worked better than expected.

Bought these for sound dampening on planes and in arenas. Sound dampening is excellent and for attending arena games, you can Bluetooth connect through your smartphone and listen to game commentary on the radio while keeping band noise to a minimum. Very high quality product.
