Awesome sound and controls and also very comfortable, music has a lot of depth and realism and noise canceling is outstanding!!

I gave this as a gift and he really liked it. It has very good sound quality and it is very comfortable to wear. I would definitely buy this product again as a gift again or even for myself!

I really like the design, they are lightweight and the audio is excellent.

I got this for my train commute in and out of Philadelphia. People tend to be loud and obnoxious on the Wilmington-Newark line. These headphones probably saved me from having a nervous breakdown. Now if only they were also smell-cancelling.... In all seriousness, they work great. I tried these out in the store first, along with the Bose equivalent model, and these were great. The Bose noise cancelling actually made me feel a little motion sick. Please do yourself a favor, and if you haven't used noise cancelling headphones before TRY THEM IN PERSON FIRST! Some people can be sensitive to the way noise cancelling works and it can make those people feel nauseous similar to motion sickness.

These not only provide great sound while cancelling out area noise, but they are also comfortable to wear even for long periods of time. The control on the headphones themselves is also really convenient.

For wireless bluetooth 4.2 headphones, the battery life, USB-C fast charging, and the very admirable sound quality are excellent draws. $350 is asking for a lot..maybe $300 would be the right fit. I still recommend this, though.

Great sound, intuitive control, light and comfortable, best app customization. No complaints. I used numerous other headphones ie: Bose qc, Yamaha, bower and Wilkins px and found these to be the best for travel and office use.

The noise cancelling on these headphones are amazing! Build quality is great and enjoying the sound quality as well. The battery life on this is also pretty insane.

Needed a new pair of cans and had my eyes on these for a long while. Battery seems to last forever (about 40 hours for me). Love the noise canceling feature.

So far the battery life has been good, the ear cups comfy, and the sound quality great. They pair with my computer just fine. on a down side, the mic is not so great.

In the past, I have used other noise canceling headphones on planes, at school and in the house during the night. The first and most important step was using the Sony WH-1000xm3 on the plane and to me this was the ultimate test. After my flight took off, I immediately plugged the headphones in to watch Netflix films I downloaded for my flight. Let me be the first to say, I could not hear anything from the outside, period. Oftentimes with other headsets, I could hear the noise from the plane in the air and it was eventually white noise, but the Sony WH-1000xm3 headphones completely tuned that out! The sound was crystal clear and, there was significant bass coming through the set during scenes where car chases were prevelant. The voices from actors were clear and I could hear what was going on in the background in the scenes, too. Again, a huge bonus when earbuds and other headsets did not capture the same clarity. I can honestly say, I was deeply involved with what I was listening to during my flight to even remember to buckle up before landing. I actually had a flight attendant come by, tap me on the shoulder and tell me we were landing and to fasten my seatbelt, oops. Fast forward to my conference, I brought these with and used the bluetooth function instead of the cord. The bluetooth on this was great and I did not have any pairing issues, or loss of sound quality. I will say, I did notice a slight decrease in battery length when using the bluetooth function, which makes sense, but other than that small complaint, these are great headphones to use. Even during my conference breaks, I did not hear the noise of the loud hall and other attendees walking by. Furthermore, I am impressed with how easy it is to charge and the fact that it uses USB charging C. I only brought one cable with for both my note 8 and these headphones because they use the same cable. I have to tip my hat to Sony for providing that type of charging (though it is going to be a standard soon). In addition to that, it took about an hour to fully charge this, which is terrific since I spent at least 3 days (countless hours) using them on a full charge (using the provided 3.5mm headphone jack). Additionally, since these are over the ear headphones, I experienced discomfort in the past with other headphones similar to these, especially around the ears. Sony, again, hit it out of the park with the comfort of these. I wore the WH-1000xm3 headphones throughout the day without discomfort and my ears felt the best in years wearing these. The headphone cups fit perfectly and they are padded, which is a huge bonus. Overall, the Sony WH-1000xm3 passed the airplane test and they in fact cancel out all the outside noise as intended. They are comfortable and there is no comparison to other headphones in the same class. Charging is simple, and the sound is completely clear; it is so clear that I am able to hear music scores, actors and bass (when applicable) in film scenes. If you are looking for noise canceling headphones, this is the pair you want, hands down.

Amazing noise cancelling headphones. I’m an audio person and I love my music. These are my go to headphones when I want to hear music the way it was meant to be heard. My only pet peeve about these is putting them away in their case. It has a strange layout that sometimes takes me more than a few seconds to figure out and get in there. Once you’re used to it however, they slide right in. I’ve also worn them while spinning and while they go make me sweat more than I should, I can’t help but sing out loud and feel the energy when they are on my head. When you purchase, you’ll understand. Now that the XM4’s are out, this should drop in price and become a steal for anyone.

With the coronavirus quarantine, I spend 7+ hours/day on conference calls. I needed some comfortable over-the-ear headphones with great sound quality and a hands-free mic. These are great all around.

Used them for the first time on a flight to Mexico and was sitting right over the wing. I absolutely could not hear the plane engine at all with these on. Amazing! Comfortable to wear for long periods as well.

Sound is balanced and full. Had no problems connecting them to Bluetooth transmitter (My sound bar is Sony HT-TX2 which has a transmitter built in). They fit like a dream and the noise cancelling feature is outstanding.

I cannot compare to other headphones but noise cancelling is great, the sound is better than earbuds, and nothing seems to interfere with the Bluetooth. One problem is that people can't hear me in phone calls.

Bought these headphones based on reviews of their superior noise cancellation. They also have decent sound and were easy to setup for bluetooth or hardwired. I had no trouble making the touch controls work properly.

This is the second time I've bought this product. I loved my first headset but they would no longer charge. I didn't buy a protection plan the first time and Sony was difficult with the return and fix policy. The sound in this headset is better than any pair I've ever owned. They are a bit expensive but they are worth it.

Amazing sound. Super comfortable. Easy to use. I replaced my Bose Quiet35 series 2 for these bad boys and I love it. Most tech folks say these are the best wireless over the ear headphones out there right now and I agree.

Great sounding headphones which I feel are a bit better than Bose. Easy and intuitive controls and fit comfortably over the ears. The noise cancellng feature works well. A great buy!
