Sony has done it with these headphones. Truly believe they have given Bose a run for their money when it comes to ANC headphones. Not only is the ANC quality great, they sound awesome as well. Great job Sony!

My husband loves his new headphones. He took them on along trip to Europe and he said they lasted the entire time and the noise canceling option was amazing. He was able to sleep in the plane because of them.

This is the best headphone I've ever tried, The Noise Canceling works excellent, while the audio sounds rich and deep. The battery charge is very good considering that I use Noice Canceling all the time.

These headphones are just simply outstanding. On the plane, the noise cancelling is so much better than my Bose headset. The base is very specific with good mid-tones. You know, you get what you pay for.

Comfortable, great sound fidelity, and really eliminates background noise. They're a little warm on the ears, but that's unavoidable with over the ear headsets so no points off.

Works well - high quality sound and really keeps out the noise. Used on several flights prior to the pandemic and worked very well. Battery life is decent but charges quickly.

I travel weekly so having the M3s is a must. Had some other OTE but these are amazing! Comfortable, They cancel out everything and battery like is great! Lots of options to fine tune to your preference.

Awesome sound. Charges incredibly fast and last over 20 hours. I love the mute by touching the earpiece. It works great to hear flight attendant talking to you on the plane, without taking off headphones.

got them for a few flights, the noise cancelling is very good and doesn't do that weird ear fluttering thing. sounds amazing and is comfortable for long term use. the app could be worse

These are awesome headphones. They are comfortable and the sound is amazing. In the winter they are better than the summer as they can get hot, but I truly like these.

I've been a long-time owner/user of the Bose Quiet Comfort headphones with noise cancellation. I also have used the Master Dynamic wired headphones (over ear) for several years. These Sony WH-1000MX3's are so much better. Not because of the wireless feature. Both Bose and MD offer headphones that are wireless, so that's a draw. Sound quality is subjective. What I like you might not and vice versa. To me, these sound better than both. Deeper bass, without over doing it. Good mids and highs. I love the feature of being able to place your hand on the ear cup and it turns off the NC so you can talk to someone. The app gives you several options for the strength or type of NC which is nice.

I was really pleased with comfort and Noise Cancelling ability. I was on an older Airplane Flying from Atlanta to Zürich. The Sony Headphones removes all the external noise. I was very impressed.

These are the best noise cancelling headphones I have purchased. They sound great and fit perfectly. Not the best for taking calls but who uses the type of headphones for that anyway.

First, these headphones do sound great. Especially if you enjoy strong base. The noise canceling ability is also very good, but at times, I did find my ears hurting due to pressure. Unfortunately the big deal breaker for me was the fact you can’t pair 2 devices at once. I use both my iPhone and iPad to listen to music and watch movies, and with the Sony’s I had to completely disconnect from one device first, then reconnect to other. This was just a pain and not fluid. I also found the call quality to sound muffled and the swipe controls were a bit finicky, and not consistent. Lastly, I didn’t like their app at all. Even though it gives you a ton of options, if felt overkill, and not intuitive. Don’t get me wrong, there was a lot I did like about these headphones, and for many I’m sure they’re perfect. But for me the Bose QC35 ii was a better choice. It all comes down to personal preference and how you’ll use the headphones.

These headphones sound great and are very comfortable. The blue tooth range is great and allows me to move around without loss of connection.

I had always been a fan of Bose headphones, mostly because I'm a believer that if you want the highest quality, you have to be willing to pay the price. I compared these Sony headphones with the latest Bose OE comparable set and I was amazed at how crisp, deep and clean the music tones are on this headset. I like the added features, like the surface of the right side is like a "mouse." Simply flip up or down to increased/decrease the volume, flip left or right to rewind/advance songs. Cup your right ear to amplify external sound (ie: when the flight attendant is trying to talk to you). Best of all, you don't pay the traditionally high-priced tag as you do with Bose headphones.

Overall nice fit, they will get sweaty after wearing them but they feed great in the ears and the noise cancellation is excellent. The app gives you full control which is a definite plus would highly recommend

These headphones are for true bass lovers like me. Amazing sound quality!! Super comfortable!! Listening to a movie is Epic!! It sounds like a Sony theater. Your music playlist will blow you away.

I originally bought these headphones because I'm a college student and I'm always studying at coffee shops. As much as I love going to coffee shops it's always busy and loud. I wanted to purchase some noise-cancelling headphones and I came across the Sony WH-100XM3. I absolutely love these headphones. However, I decided to return it because of the price as well as the lack of comfort. I have small ears and after a while, my ears started ringing which caused me a good amount of ear pain. I noticed I had this issue whenever the noise-cancelling function was on. However, if you're someone who goes to loud places such as coffee shops or take the subway/bus and would want to minimize outside sound I would highly recommend this product. The noise-cancelling on this is amazing. It definitely feels like you're in a different place .I like how you can turn on/off noise cancelling which gives you full control of your surroundings. Overall, I hope Sony comes out with a mid-range headphone that offers around the same amount of functions as the WH-1000XM3.
