There are several reviews praising the sound clarity, noise-cancelling, connectivity and battery life. All true. This is an excellent product compared to several other competitors.

Overall, this is a high quality product offering from Sony and a worthy competitor to a Bose QC. Sadly I have decided to return the product for reasons I will describe below, but the device's quality and performance key factors weren't the issue. First, the positives: Noise-cancelling: This is top of its class, absolutely wonderful. I tried to switch from Bose QC 35 IIs to this, and the difference in noise reduction is absolutely detectable and almost uncanny. It seems to be much better at filtering lower sounds as well, so while dull rumbles with the QC35 will be quieter, with this Sony they are practically gonezo.

I own two pair of these. I use both nearly all day every day for conference calls, switching between them frequently. Noise cancelling is sublime. WFH with spouse and a child in elementary school; cannot hear anyone unless they are standing next to me and speaking loudly. Also sublime isolation in the noisy office. People have to knock on my desk to get my attention. Sound quality (for music listening) is also excellent. Balanced & high quality, with a note the range is stronger when connected (broader frequency response) than over Bluetooth, which is a limitations of Bluetooth and is true for all Bluetooth headphones. Surprisingly good on conference calls - only headset I’ve owned that I can say this about. Both are failing where the plastic meets on the sliding ear piece. It’s a small plastic bridge that fails, and when it does, the headphones cannot stay together. I fixed this with a zip tie. 4 of 4 joints have failed, so it’s definitely an issue. Also has a great travel case.

Sound quality is amazing. Battery life is good too. Happy with my purchase.

I really enjoy the crisp clear sound and for me just the right amount of base. I used them on the plane and the noise canceling was really nice to have. The app is user friendly.

These are super comfortable and should great. Some may want a louder set, if so may wanna try something else. But as I get older I’m trying to save my hearing and this offers great range and clarity.

just what the doctor ordered. Noise canceling with Bluetooth to connect to my smart TV. Now i can drown out the kids yelling at their Xbox friends while ignoring the wife.

Great set of cans. The app is pretty cool too you can set noise cancellation to different levels depending wether you’re walking running sitting or riding. Pretty cool, very comfy too.

Comfortable to wear, not too warm after wearing for a long time. great noise cancelling, wear to work a lot with people around me talking. Little bit too big, additional hat is not fit with this

These are the best headphones when traveling in the air. I love the feature to where you can mute by using your hand to cover the headphone. They are very comfortable for long usage times as well.

I use them for commuting in the metro. They make my daily commute enjoyable. I always have them on playing lots of tunes. I like the fact that I can EQ them specially the bass.

Purchase for Christmas gift for my daughter. Did a lot of testing between Bose and Sony. I think the noise cancellation is more superior than Bose. The sound is the best and are very comfortable to wear

I was contemplating between Bose and Sony, wanted to try Sony this time and it is the bekst decision. I love the comfort and noise canceling feature. Love listening to my 8d collection on this :)

I bought these mainly for air travel to replace an older wired pair. The noise cancellation is incredible. The old pair was good, but these are better in every way. Much less drone, and the ability to turn off NC by putting your right hand on the ear cup is very useful in flight. And they sound great for music and movies (not a game so cant comment on that). Only complaint is that you can pair only one bluetooth device at a time. So if you are listening to something on your computer or iPad and your phone rings, you cant quickly switch to the phone to take the call. Have to disconnect and reconnect to phone, and by then the call has gone to voicemail. Other than that, these are fantastic headphones.

I like my Sony - WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the Ear Headphones with Google Assistant Black, they are very comfortable and the sound is heard very well.

Thus far the best noise cancelling head phones in the market. I just had long flight of 39 hours and I was wearing the headset most of the time and it felt like a feather and in my own space. Thumbs up.
