It Works Great! I just purchased it during the Pandemic stay-at-home Period and I suddenly have peace and quiet to listen to my music and watch various streaming programs. I’ve been using other headphone brands/models that never gave me the sudden noise cancellation level with this Sony model. I’m suddenly enjoying the serenity and clarity this SONY headphone brings to my few moments to myself each day without the day to day distractions (dogs barking, lawn equipment, traffic noises, etc).

Love these Sony wireless noise canceling head phones. These head phones conform to your ears and fit comfortably with easy use and long lasting battery. They are the perfect travel accessory!

Let’s face it, Sony makes great sounding cans. The NC is great, and the sound is better than Bose in my opinion. They are comfortable, look cool, and the app is well done. Again the NC is great and the touch controls can be cool. The cons : if you look at the app privacy permissions, they are very invasive. Other reviews touch on this do I’ll move on. I deleted the app as a result, eliminating any features I liked about it. It’s still Bluetooth 4.2 which is puzzling, and it can only connect to one device at a time. I had numerous cutouts while my phone was in my pocket. That’s frustrating for this price point. My old bose connect to 2 devices seamlessly, why can’t Sony? Also, the touch controls can be quite inconsistent and frustrating. I returned these for a pair of SkullCandys that was about 80 bucks cheaper.

I researched these headphones thoroughly. There is a lot of hype surrounding them. I was worried it wouldn't live up to it, but it absolutely did and I'm very glad I picked 'em up. The sound quality is better than any headphones I've ever had. Obviously, if you're an audiophile and you've spent big money on headphones before, the audio quality might not overwhelm you depending on what you're used to. I had a pair of skullcandy bluetooth in-ear headphones prior to these. The jump in audio was significant and I'm very happy with 'em. Check 'em out!

My first set of NC cans but I'm impressed so far. Sound is excellent. comfort is good. Cannot compare comfort as I have no baseline again my first set of premium cans. So far good job by Sony.

I researched and read so many reviews for the current contenders for wireless noise cancelling and I'm glad I went with the Sony. I have been using the wired Bose noise cancelling headphones for many years now and wanted to try something wireless. I was worried about sound quality and connectivity but after my first few times using these those concerns went out the window. Not only do they sound amazing, the noise cancelling is ridiculous. I couldn't hear anything - so much so that I had to take them off once in a while to make sure there was still sound in the world outside of the music I was listening to. I'm very impressed and would highly recommend these.

I highly recommend this headset . My Wife can be laying right next to me yapping about nothing and i just smile and nod my head and say i throw an i told you that girl was crazy once in a while to her or say yeah i bet .. I am rocking this Amazing Sony Noise Cancelling headset and can't hear a single word She says , It's Amazing. I can only hear the crisp detailed high quality sound of my easy listening Music . Active noise cancellation is amazing, the music sounds very balanced as well and the bass is pretty good unlike the boss headphones, I can see why they are winning at the moment

These are great! Love the ability to cup the right ear with your hand and have the sound go down so you can hear announcements or someone talking without having to take them off. Comfy too!

Granted, these were my first pair of high quality headphones, so I have no basis for comparison...other than before I was miserable with noise from neighbor's voice penetrating through the wall behind the wall as I was trying to concentrate...and the on-going unhappiness from the restaurant rumble next door..Relief at last! I was worried about being able to move freely around in my apartment without losing Bluetooth connection, but I have my Android plugged in and NP! Also charge time seems to be quick. Like the voice feedback from headphones..turned on..connected to bluetooth..yes, I'm listening! Sweet.

I tested out Beats and Bose headphones prior to these and am super pleased with the comfort, range and sound quality. Love!

Battery and noise cancellation is great. I use it for traveling all the time. However, I found that the Adapting sound control was annoying and would change the range of noise cancellation while on the flight and burned through the battery very fast. But you can just manually set it and it works great.

For an intermediate pair of wireless headphones, these are great! Noise canceling is well above par and has some great features. I fly often and these are so far the most comfortable I found.

Heavy on bass if desired. Great app that can help fine tune sound. All are options. Straight out of the box they sound great. Pose canceling at least as good as Bose I replaced.

These headphones deliver excellent sound while cancelling out the annoying background noise. Solid quality build and very comfortable.

I finally had to make up my mind and stop looking. A price drop in store made me go for it. I tried the Beats and two others like these in the store and these were the hands-down winner. I realize now the others probably were not optimized perfectly with various apps that are out now, but still feel I have the better purchase. My kid has the Beats version and after fiddling with instructions and easy-to-use features, I like these better. I don't use the stadium setting for 3-D sound. I can even use these with my Xbox controller. I like the case as well, which fold securely and have nice little compartment for the aux cord etc.

Really pleased with these. Great sound. Great battery life. I use them with an iPhone XR. Control of volume and previous and next track using the touch interface takes a bit of practice.

I use this primarily for watching TV/Movies using the Bluetooth feature. The headphones work flawlessly. They connect quickly, sound great and are lightweight enough for prolonged use.

After much research and testing the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones were the right choice. Light on the Head, but sturdy. These have to also be some of the Best Sounding Heaphones ever.
