These are THE best over ear headphones out there. I tried in a bunch of sets, and nothing came close to sound, comfort and noise canceling as these do. Well worth the investment.

Sound clarity is tha number selling point for these headphones and with tha companion app you can tune them to your liking and even recalibrate tha atmospheric pressure based on your altitude and adjust tha type of noise-canceling you want. They execute tha touch controls very well and are pretty responsive. Overall these headphones are tha best in their class, including tha Bose headphones a buddy of mine bought. Get em if you can afford em. Also include Geek Squad with your purchase, it's like a 2 year return policy and let's you trade in your old ones when tha latest version comes out!

Love these headphones. The noise cancelling is excellent especially on planes. Also they are pretty comfortable to wear for long periods.

These headphones are great! While the price tag is steep, the noise cancellation and sound quality make them totally worth it, alongside comfortability.

The touch controls and noise cancellation work like a charm. The best thing about them is that you won’t feel them on your head or ears. Simplicity and comfort are key.

Once I figured out how to properly use these headphones, I have had nothing but good things to say about them. My niece( She's 24) had to show me how to operate these things. I wear the headphones almost everyday. I put them on when I go out for my evening walk and before I know it; Ive walked three or four miles. This is what I have been missing. I am 56 and I remember when I purchased mt first SONY Walkman, these headphones take back to those times. My play list consists of all types of music: Rock, Country-Western, Reggae, Motown, and even Hip-Hop and Classical. Thank You SONY for bringing back the days of my youth!!!!!

Love the comfort and the noise canceling. I work in a warehouse with a lot of sirens and alarms that leave my ears ringing. These help out alot.

Noise cancelling is really good on these headphones. Sound quality is also really good. They're pretty comfortable after wearing them for hours. I recommend these.

I was having trouble deciding between these and the Bose quietcomfort headphones that are in the same price range. I went with the Sony’s because people told me they loved them, and I know why. These headphones are great. When you want to drown out the noise around you, they don’t have a problem with that. I haven’t had much experience with the app that you can download to customize the sound, but there are plenty of options to get the sound you want. I’m excited to use these the next time I’m on a plane or traveling in general. Can’t recommend these enough, especially when they’re on sale.

The Sony -WH-1000XM3 Active noise canceling headphones are the best Noise canceling headphones I have had since I had the Bose 25 Noise canceling headphones back in 2014. Those were slightly better but not by much. Everything is great with the headphones 6 months after purchase. My only slight issue was a problem I was able to resolve the other day with the Apple App store Sony Headphone connect App after update. I deleted the app and reinstalled and factory rest the headphones by pressing the on/off and noise canceling buttons in the left ear.

These are the best headphones I have owned. Superb noise-canceling even in an airplane. The optimizer function helps out in any situation. This is the second pair I have purchased, and my son has the previous model which has also been great! With current discounts, I would snatch these up, as the newest model reports only slight differences. The only downside for me is they hurt the top of my head if worn for long periods, but I do have a smaller head with limited ability to make further adjustments. I can reposition to remedy the situation.

Got these headphones for my 12 yr old. They have amazing sound quality and an awesome noise canceling feature. Very comfortable. My son falls asleep with them on at night.

I have been a Bose guy for years, but I am now a convert to Sony. The Sony Headphones last longer are are equal or better in sound quality. I highly recommend these headphones.

You are going to pay a lot for these but you are getting so much for your money. I got them for the noise canceling b/c working at home and in the office can pretty noisy and they have allowed me to focus better on my workload. The ambient feature allows for quick hearing in case I need to hear something on the fly w/out constantly taking them off. Also, the surround VPT functionality was a cool surprise that allows you pick different sound formats such as arena, club, etc. depending on mood I’m in. They were recommended by a friend after Beats needed replacement and now I recommend them too.

Overall very good sound. You do have to install Sony app to adjust sound settings and ambient noise levels (other than ANC on/off). Also kind of a pain to connect when using on multiple paired devices, but pleased with the actual performance. They are also pretty comfortable.

I'm a Beats fan...but these are the best. Most comfortable, great sound...the app gives extra flexibility. Are pricey...which make them an investment.

So I've been using the headphones for a few months now. I really wanted to give them a five star rating because I like them so much, but there is room for improvement. Pros: -Really good noise cancelling -Stellar charge time. I've only had to charge them maybe four times. They charge very fast as well. -Comes with a nice case -Sounds excellent Cons: -Noise cancelling doesn't block everything out -Ear pads can become a little uncomfortable over long periods of use -Switching bluetooth form one device to another can be somewhat of a hassle These are my first pair of NC headphones. I compared them in store to the Bose Q35. I found, for me, these headphones to be more comfortable, better noise cancelling and better sound. The touch button layout has a slight learning curve but nothing too drastic. I've paired them up to a Bluetooth transmitter connected to my entertainment center and enjoy using them with movies, shows, sports, PS4 gaming, etc. I also use them for trying to sleep in a noisy household.

The best headphones with the most options (touch controls on side etc). Pretty lightweight, comes with a nice travel case. Works to take phone calls too.

I have fallen in love with these headphones. What really got me first was the noise canceling quality. Once you set everything up and the AI scans your surroundings for ambient noise, with no audio playing it sounds like you are in a different world. It is just amazing how well this works. The sound quality is good as well. I know that sound quality is subjective to each user, but these are defiantly Hi-Res. As it is with any Bluetooth system, you will get the best sound quality if the headphones are plugged in directly to the source, but the Bluetooth audio is more than adequate for what I use them for.
