I think the sound is a little more crisp in the Bose but bass heavy on this model. Overall I like these better because of the features, plus they are USB-c like all my other devices. You won’t be disappointed!

I have purchased it because I was tired to use the airlines' cheap headphones quality. It's a great headphone and I utilize it for all my international flights. The sound quality is perfect and the noise cancellation feature works perfectly as well.

What a great purchase this has been. These are simply the best headphones I've ever had. The sound quality is tremendous. Noise-canceling outstanding. Ranges between high and low tones terrific. The wireless connection has been solid also. If you're in the market for a great set of headphones, save your money and invest in the Sony WH-1000XM3's!

Bose, Beats, JBL ($250+) headphones I have used and like them however, these headphones are above all of those. Sound is full while leaving the bass tight but airy. The noise cancellation is scary good but it does leave just a touch of the in ear pressure from noise cancellation over ear headphones. The Sony headphone app is easy to figure out if you are into tech but I can see how it can become overwhelming for the average consumer. Overall these have replace my beats studio pro as my daily drivers.

I don’t know how I’d take public transport without them and I certainly couldn’t handle transatlantic flights without these to keep my ears comfy and block out the plane noise. I lost these in an Uber and immediately went out and repurchased these. Since I’ve owned two pair now, I can tell you how cheaply the headband is made: both sets have broken on the left side due to the cheap plastic. I was able to keep it in place with electrical tape but that’s not something that should happen with $400 headphones. I took off one star for the cheap construction

Outstanding noise cancellation, no bass overkill

The noise cancelling feature worked extremely well on some recent airline flights, too. VERY pleased with these! Downloading the app gives you some other settings to use depending on your location and activity. Don't really use those much, but they're a nice addition.
