The Sony Wireless Noise Cancelling headphones were perfect. The case is small and is easily stored in carry on luggage. I was on several airlines and the adapter easily fit all. The noise in the plane was reduced and I was able to enjoy watching movies. Once I got home, I use the headphones with my iPad to watch movies and not disturb those around me not wanting to watch the same shows.

They sound, at least to me, way better than my Bose headphones. Like so many Bluetooth devices though, the pairing process is annoying. I often use them with a cord and they sound even better. I'm late with this review and I think there is an M4 version now that also gets great reviews.

The sound quality is excellent, it's really remarkable. The noise cancelling is. Very strong, probably not quite as strong as the Bose, but the quality of sound more than makes up for any difference there, and I like Bose sound stage. The functions all work really well and the app and eq are great. Basically, everything you read about these is dead on accurate and you will be pleased with your purchase.

Second these headphones are AMAZING! I've tried the Bose 700 and Aipod Max returned both did not like the sound quility on them. Glad i caught this deal for the XM3's best headphones I've owned.

I had some Sennheisers years ago and those seemed to use white noise to mark the ambient sound. These Sony headphones block 98% of office noise even if you play no music through them. I did notice that the block is 100% from the left side and less from the right side, although maybe that just means that more loudmouths at my office sit to my right.

Connectivity with Bluetooth is fine, the only complaint I have is when connected to MacBook Air, however the sound is very good when using wired connection with MacBook. Problem solved but now the headphones are no longer wireless. Otherwise I love them.

Only complaint that my ears got a little uncomfortable and hot with prolonged use (4-6 hours straight), but not in a major way. Not enough to cancel out the benefits.

The swipe feature for stop and audio level is very finicky. For the price I think they could have been much better.
