The sound quality is excellent, it's really remarkable. The noise cancelling is. Very strong, probably not quite as strong as the Bose, but the quality of sound more than makes up for any difference there, and I like Bose sound stage. The functions all work really well and the app and eq are great. Basically, everything you read about these is dead on accurate and you will be pleased with your purchase.

The Sony Wireless Noise Cancelling headphones were perfect. The case is small and is easily stored in carry on luggage. I was on several airlines and the adapter easily fit all. The noise in the plane was reduced and I was able to enjoy watching movies. Once I got home, I use the headphones with my iPad to watch movies and not disturb those around me not wanting to watch the same shows.

I had some Sennheisers years ago and those seemed to use white noise to mark the ambient sound. These Sony headphones block 98% of office noise even if you play no music through them. I did notice that the block is 100% from the left side and less from the right side, although maybe that just means that more loudmouths at my office sit to my right.

They sound, at least to me, way better than my Bose headphones. Like so many Bluetooth devices though, the pairing process is annoying. I often use them with a cord and they sound even better. I'm late with this review and I think there is an M4 version now that also gets great reviews.

One of the features is you can push on the headphone right ear, and you can control the volume, plus cancel out when you need to talk and hear someone. The only thing is, I don't use that feature, because I feel it is rude to the person you are talking to, to continue to keep the headphones on your head. I guess I am from the old school.. I also think it is rude not to take your hat off in the house... ESPECIALLY at the dinner table. Lol

Long Time Bose Fan No More

I was very interested to see when these came out and read reviews saying that they topped the Bose headphones. I just had to get my hands on a pair. Holy cannoli let me tell you, THESE ARE AMAZING. The sound quality is simply PRISTINE! The ability to control every aspect of your music via the mobile app is just astonishing. No other headphone compares to these.
