The best feature, other than the great noise cancelling, is the ability to cup your right ear and listen clearly to someone trying to talk to you. The gesture controls on the right ear cup are very functional and worked great for me. The sound of voices and music is ultimately what makes these great, and paired with this functionality, in my estimation, makes these the best I've ever owned.

The over-ear design insulates a lot of sound without the noise canceling feature on. However, the noise canceling mode blocks out everything when listening to music. They can make your ears warm if wearing them for extended periods of time, but I don't mind this. Highly recommend if you're living with people and need some quiet to work!!

Conforabtle, Good sound but overpriced

I have an iPhone 11 so it's not a bad phone, but it could be my phone. This hasn't happened in a while so it could of been part of a software update too. For the price, these should work well every single time. However, they are VERY comfortable and they have great sound and great, controlled base. The SONY app is terrible too, but they have made improvements on the app over the few months I've had it.

My first wireless headphones!

The Sony - WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling really cancels the outside noise. When people try to talk me to where I reside (a residential hotel) in the I cannot hear them when they try to talk to me or when they are talking to each other. And the sound is crisp and clear when watching a movie or listening to music from my desktop connected to my TV/Monitor 32" flat screen. (Later on I will purchase a 55" Flat TV/Monitor Screen at Best Buy.)

The thing that drew me to the headphones was the way you can lower the music just by placing your hand on the side of the headphones. That was super neat! And you seriously can’t hear much of anything when you have them on. I would have never thought I would spend this much on headphones, but it was so worth it. My music and movies sound awesome with these!
