As an airline pilot I spend a lot of time around noise. Most pilots go with a product that starts with a B and I have left the herd. I’m able to use my Sony with a mic adapter to communicate while operating, and just as headphones when I commute in the back of the aircraft. The nose cancelation is top notch! I love that you can optimize for the environment, genius idea. I can go on and on but anyone who spends time in noisy environments needs this headset!

Very comfortable with good sound quality and noise dampening. I occasionally have to pair them to my Samsung TV again when they refuse to connect. Unsure if this is an issue with the headphones or TV.

The white noise from the XM2s are gone and the already comfortable headset is still outstanding.

My boyfriend is obsessed with these headphones. It really does cancel out noise and is perfect for the gym.

First, I’m not someone who usually pays over $50 for headphones but finally decided to take the plunge and shell out a pretty penny for these and definitely worth it. Noise canceling works well and actively adjusts to your surroundings, while sound quality is phenomenal. Granted, as stated before I don’t have much to compare it to but compared to other headphones these sound great. However, I wish these Bluetooth headphones allowed multiple connection to different devices but other then that these sound great and are comfortable for wearing for hours.

Truly amazing headphones. Tried others in same price range none are close to these Sony HM3. The sound, the quality, the look and feel and ease to use controls can’t say enough they are great. The app also gives you some control. I also use them with the TV set and the noise canceling works great can’t hear my wife at all. I am not a professional music conductor so I won’t get into the mids or lows or highs, they just simply sound great to me. Nice case and adapters.

Sound is excellent, comfortable to wear but somewhat fragile headband. I've broken two pairs and yet I keep coming back. This time I purchased the replacement plan, because I do love the headset.

Purchased on sale ahead of the MX4 launch. The MX4 specs didn’t appear to have too many additional features to warrant the wait or price. Great sound and noise cancellation is excellent. Haven’t used them on a plane or anything like that yet but as soon as it’s activated all surrounding ambient sounds are pretty much gone. The only thing I don’t like is the (minor) hassle when switching devices. I use them for work with my laptop and for pleasure with iPad and tv. You have to disconnect and reconnect but I knew that from other reviewers and I guess the MX4 will connect to multiple devices but as I said, the $278 sale price was too good to pass up.

I mainly bought them for the ANC not comfort or sound quality. Never been a big user of headphones but when my friend let me use his x1000m2 set I was hooked. I took them to a coffee shop and managed to do homework without distractions. The only bad thing I find is that they clamp a bit too hard. I wish they clamped less. Other than that they are better than bose and others. I also really like the Crushers from skullcandy but they dont have ANC. I think bose is more comfortable and skullcandy has the best bass but overall these won because of their awesome ANC and battery life.

Light weight, comfortable, better noise cancelling than the Bose. Not it can only connect to one device at a time and call quality is mediocre at best.

I wanted to get a headset for my PS4 and I was pretty dead set on the Astro a50s. One of the people that work there recommended I try these out at the store. And WOW I have never had such clarity in the music. I work in a wood shop and it can get pretty loud in there. These headphones cancel out all of the background noise (if you want them to). I can’t recommend these enough. If I could rank them any higher I 100% would

The headphones soind great and feel amazing but the lesther cups are a grease magnet. Due to that, these are definitely not meant to be wore to the gym or honestly on a hot day.

Needed Bluetooth headphones since my new I phone has no jack, outstanding performance Just took 4 flights with my new noise cancelling headphones, you really don’t realize just how noisy it is in a jet until you take off your headphones

I love Beats products but after buying and using these Sony headphones, I made the switch; sort of. These are just the best sounding headphones I ever owned. I use these at home to stream movies, or play video games, and they are great while on conference calls. The Beats can get beat up at the gym, but I will take care of these. I also plan to purchase the ear bud version because the audio is just that good !
