Perfect for noise cancelling!

They live up to the hype! I can't hear a thing but my music or audiobook when I have them on. They even do a good job of blocking out noise when I'm not listening to anything. My only complaint is the length of the charging cable. It's only a few inches long.

She comes home after the first day of use and told me she was so happy to be able to finally concentrate at work. At the same time she was able to take calls, listen to music and listen to her coworkers speak to her by placing her hand over one of the ear cups. Very convenient. Sony does it again!

I compared these to all other major brands on the market and, as it turns out, there really is no comparison. Having now had these for over a month I can say they work perfectly from when I'm in my office on conference calls to traveling across the country on a flight. Sony has definitely set the bar.

On top of the excellent noise cancellation, makes listening to music a breeze - at much lower volumes than you might otherwise need to drown out the noise. Note: these do not excel as a wireless headset for phone calls. They are ok for that. but not great.

This makes doing anything on our living room TV very difficult. I synced these up to my Sony HTST5000 and still get the same quality audio experience. I would buy these 100 times out of 100. So many great features but beware because when you have these on the world around you ceases to make sound it is just you and whatever audio you are listening to.

Then I bought the Sony wh-1000xms. Let me tell you how so very amazing they are.. Just the best noise cancelling headphones on the market. They sound so amazing and great sound with awesome base. The app to control then is outstanding. So great with all custom you can do on these. Very awesome..

I had Bose QC, Parrot Zik, and Beats by Dre. I like these Sony the best of the ones I have tried from a sound quality and noise-canceling perspective. The Parrot Zik are a little better with some more subtle features like pausing my audio when I take them off, but all-in-all, these are the best overall.

I collect and listen to vinyl records and whenever I listen to music on the go, it’s never the same experience. I saved up to buy these headphones and it was SO worth it. The sound quality is amazing, the noise cancelling is too. Sony personalizes the sound output by analyzing your ear shape—it’s just so cool. I would 10/10 recommend these to anyone.
