These are a great pair of comfy noise canceling headphones. The sound quality is pretty good but the main goal for these headphones is the noise canceling. The build is plastic but it feels premium and is durable. The case provided works great as well. The touch controls can be a little finicky but once you get use to using them and how the headphones sit. The controls start to be way easier to use.

Like these noise cancelling headphones. They do a good job with the noise cancellation, esp. the consistent background sounds (like an air conditioner), maybe a little less so for voices but still effective. Sound quality is crisp. The app lets you tune the sound to your preferences (such as bright). The only wish is that is was easier to switch between multiple devices. Recommended regardless.

I've bought and tried 3 other noise cancelling headphones, and returned them back. Then I bought the Sony wh-1000xms. Let me tell you how so very amazing they are.. Just the best noise cancelling headphones on the market. They sound so amazing and great sound with awesome base. The app to control then is outstanding. So great with all custom you can do on these. Very awesome..

I have had many different higher end bluetooth headphones over the years. I had Bose QC, Parrot Zik, and Beats by Dre. I like these Sony the best of the ones I have tried from a sound quality and noise-canceling perspective. The Parrot Zik are a little better with some more subtle features like pausing my audio when I take them off, but all-in-all, these are the best overall.

Music is my life. I collect and listen to vinyl records and whenever I listen to music on the go, it’s never the same experience. I saved up to buy these headphones and it was SO worth it. The sound quality is amazing, the noise cancelling is too. Sony personalizes the sound output by analyzing your ear shape—it’s just so cool. I would 10/10 recommend these to anyone.

Wifey needed something to use at work to block out all the noise around her to do her job without any distractions. She comes home after the first day of use and told me she was so happy to be able to finally concentrate at work. At the same time she was able to take calls, listen to music and listen to her coworkers speak to her by placing her hand over one of the ear cups. Very convenient. Sony does it again!

A heck of an experience. Fantastic noise cancellation and superb audio quality, especially in regards to music. I wish it was a tad better quality with podcasts and the like. The build quality is significantly better than the Xm2’s, but I have had two of them break on me in regards to the hinges. But, Sony’s customer service was incredible in regards to the replacement.

If you're looking to buy a new pair of wireless, noise cancelling headphones then look no further than the Sony XM3s. I compared these to all other major brands on the market and, as it turns out, there really is no comparison. Having now had these for over a month I can say they work perfectly from when I'm in my office on conference calls to traveling across the country on a flight. Sony has definitely set the bar.

Use mostly when traveling on a plane blocks out all outside sounds and is very comfortable

My wife works odd hours and goes to bed early. This makes doing anything on our living room TV very difficult. I synced these up to my Sony HTST5000 and still get the same quality audio experience. I would buy these 100 times out of 100. So many great features but beware because when you have these on the world around you ceases to make sound it is just you and whatever audio you are listening to.
