Fantastic noise cancellation and superb audio quality, especially in regards to music. I wish it was a tad better quality with podcasts and the like. The build quality is significantly better than the Xm2’s, but I have had two of them break on me in regards to the hinges. But, Sony’s customer service was incredible in regards to the replacement.

I will admit the only reason for the 4 stars could be user error. My last set of headphones were cheap but had a decent sound quality. However I could also connect them to both my phone and my computer at the same time. Perhaps this set can too, and I just haven't figured out how. So far it seems to only like to connect one at a time and I have to go and reconnect on the other device each time I want to switch which one I am using it for. Small grievance I am sure. Minor annoyance.

Noise canceling is great and sound quality is awesome. These will work without being turned on if hard wired, just know they wont sound nearly as good as when turned on. They aso fit over my Quest VR original with the frankenquest headset attached. Mind you, I removed the frankenquest headphones.

Great headphones for bass lovers

Compared to the Bose, the noise cancelling is top of the line. Sound quality is great and clear. The downfall is the heavy base experienced. I like a well balanced sound ambience, specially during long study sessions. The innovative touch controls is also kinda funky and you have to be really conscious about your hand placement when turning volume or changing songs. I actually traded these in for the Bose QC35 ll. The noise cancelling isn’t as effective as Sony, but felt the sound was balanced. Great if you like bass!

Unlike the more common uses, I need the headphones to watch TV in the evening without hearing my downstairs neighbors, in this old duplex. I do not have a smart TV so I hooked up a Bluetooth transmitter, also purchased from Best Buy. I am very satisfied with the Sony headphones.

Ive done the pair//unpair trick several times now. These never leave the house but get alot of use. For the price of 349.99 they should not be failing a year and a half later. Very disappointed since these were considered the best at the time i purchased them. I may as well just bought a pair of Beats Studio wireless headphones. Bottom line buy these if you like to be disappointed annd waste you money

I thought these would blow me away. The noise cancelling is amazing, I’ll give them that. But where they don’t get 5 stars is the sound. The bass isn’t punchy enough for my liking and the rest of the range is just average. They’re great for sitting still while traveling, car, bus plane etc. but if you move with these on there is interference with the active noise cancellation that I can only describe as a low rubble that can be off-putting. Over all solid set of head phones. But over priced for sure.

I did a lot of research and talked to several people at the store and most all agreed that this one was the better one in his class. I totally agree and my son definitely agrees. The noise canceling on this one is awesome! I would definitely buy this again.
