This was a Christmas gift for my son who had an older model for some good years and need them a replacement. Even though this are not cheap headphones, we new that we wouldn't be disappointed. My son had to flight back to his home (more than 5 hours flight) with a couple of young kids crying near him, but as soon as he put this headphones on he couldn't hear anything else but his music.

Simply excellent, great bass and amazing noise cancelling. Worth the money

Sony has the best headphones. Nice design, sounds awesome and looks very nice.

Went to buy the Bose headphones but everyone I talked to suggested the Sony’s were better. Easy to set up on my IPad, Phone, and got a cord to hook to my stereo receiver for the tv. Very happy as when I have the headphones on I cannot hear anything else. Great for airplanes as they even block out the plane engines.

Amazing noise cancelling, excellent audio, Bluetooth worked with no issues on my Samsung S9+, Dell Laptop and Samsung TV. Microphone works excellent for my work calls. It is definitely one of the best headphones so far after trying the Bose, Plantronics, Jabra and Sennhiser. The only thing that could be improved is to allow two simultaneous Bluetooth pairing. But,still very happy with my purchase.

I’m a small guy, but the cups didn’t feel perfectly comfortable around my ears. My old wired bose were more comfortable (not much, but more). For the money, these should be extremely comfortable. As for the sound: I was impressed. Much better than my old Samsung Level Ones and slightly more range than my older bose. I’m not a fan of bass, and I was happy with these. I use headphone only for watching movies on my iPad while flying. I could hear everything perfectly and the noise cancelation was the best I’ve experienced. Why did I have to connect it to an app on my phone though??

I was quite surprised by these cans. Coming from in ear monitors 90% of the time (sennheiser ie500pro/shure se535) these sound surprisingly good. They can be a bit heavy on the base, but an eq can help with that. The noise canceling is otherworldly as well which I was not expecting. Overall a fantastic set of headphones.

I originally purchased The Bose quiet comfort 35 II and I really enjoyed them. After a couple of days I read some reviews about these Sonys and I was tempted to try them out. After a couple of more days with the Bose I returned them and paid a little bit more for the Sonys. I must say the Sonys are much better and have more functions. The sound is fantastic and the noise canceling is incredible

Great sound quality, improved noise cancellation still getting used to this product. Has quite a few feature in the app. The touch controls on the headphone is awesome

These are amazing on the airplane. Crying babies, snoring passengers, loud talkers all fade away as soon as you put these on. They are not super light so after long periods you will start to notice their weight but that is a small price to pay for the crisp sounds and the noise cancellation. I debated between these and the Bose and I settled on the Sony's and I'm not disappointed.

The hype is real, these headphones are amazing and have amazing noise cancelling capabilities. the touch/gesture controls take a little to get used to, especially if you're not looking directly at the ear cup when you do it, but it all works very well. paired with the sony headphones app, these are very useful for commutes, plane rides, and just sitting at home with some music.

OK this will be an interesting review the sound quality coming from these headphones fair to good at best if you’re used to relatively inexpensive headphones you’ll think these are great if you’re used to $500 headphones you’ll think they’re junk. The one place that they are amazing and stand out is the noise canceling wow!! I can literally listen to these with other people playing the stereo at half volume in the same room and I hear nothing except my music but if you are an audio file look elsewhere.

Best headphones ive ever used. Noise canceling is top notch, features are super awesome, the hold hand to the earpiece to turn on ambient noise is awesome. Definitely get the xm4s though, the ability to connect to multiple bluetooth devices would be nice
