Sony created a superior product with the introduction of WH-1000MX3 Wireless Headphones. These over the ear headphones have excellent noise canceling capabilities in various noisy environments. In addition, they also produce outstanding music sound quality. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for an extraordinary sound experience.

Pretty great sound, lightweight, cool swipe functions, impressive noise cancellation.

I usually buy bose for their quality,sound and ease of use of their apps.After comparing sony to Bose's,i was amazed at how well sony over the ear headphone performed.They are as good as the bose but for less money.The sony ear phone are built stronger than bose and their app works as well as bose app.I would have given it 5 stars until i paired it to my cell phone and used it to answere my calls.Person on other line complained that it sounded as if i were in a tunnel and could barely hear me .I would have to dissconnect it from phone and use my cell to talk to them.

These headphones have been a lifesaver during our recent COVID-19 quarantine. They cancel noise very well, even when living with a fiddle player! I find them comfortable for up to two hours when I start wishing they had more padding on the top. I had similar BOSE noise-canceling headphones prior to these and the Sony's are much better. The only thing reason I won't give them 5 stars is that it's a pain to switch between laptop and phone, the BOSE headphones made that part a breeze and I hope Sony will do so with their next upgrade. I would purchase these again.

Best NC than the other competitor. Sounds great! Not that heavy when use.

As a comparison I bought and returned the beat studio 3 and beats solo pro. I have to admit, the beats solo pro were the best soundIn pair but were way too tight. I settled for the xm3s because the sound isolation was hands down the best. It’s amazing how much sound they block out. I hate the fact that they aren’t seamless when switching between devices but worth the trade off when factoring in their isolation. I also workout in these and they’re tight enough not to fall off. I would recommend turning of the touch controls and just using your phone/device.

Our son-in-law had these headphones and I couldn't believe how well the noise was cancelled. I went to Bestbuy.com to order and the Bose reviews convinced me to get Bose. After receiving them, I was not impressed. I took them to a Best Buy store and they were very friendly and very willing to make the exchange. Again, I love my Sony wh1000XM3 headphones. Peace at last!!!

ANC is great with a good bass character.. although I would give comfort an 8/10.

These headphones are the best I've owned. I've long been a Bose guy, but my wife got me these for my birthday and I'm converted. The noise cancelling on these is incredible, and music doesn't lose noticeable fidelity when using the active noise cancelling as opposed to just sound isolation. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has to do a lot of studying/focusing.

I really rnjoyed these. They have great sound quality and are very comfortable.

My son loves these, but beware that the impressive noise reduction is associated with a slight pressure sensation on the ear drums. Most people may not notice this, but my cheap headset with less noise reduction has less pressure. If you need strong noise reduction then spend the extra money and get these. The sound is excellent and noise reduction can be turned off when not needed.

Comfortable, stylish, sound is great and I love the noise canceling function

I spend days researching and testing various headphones with and without noise-canceling features. This came on the top of the list and I order them along with Beats and Bose (for my kids), now we could very successfully social distance from each other without hearing each other. I am very happy with this product and it has been working very nicely so far...

Got the headset to cancel out a noisy work environment. Noise cancelation and sound quality is top notch, but the microphone picks up the environment noise more than my voice, and anyone I talk to while wearing these can't hear me. If I get a call, always have to answer using my phone. Also wish they had the ability to connect to multiple devices. I switch a lot between my Surface and phone, and having to re-sync them gets old quicker than I originally thought it would.

I am going through the setup process now. It appears that these headphones are going to be what I expected. Just putting them on seams to cancel out surrounding sounds. Software update taking a bit long for me. I'm at 57% after 10 minutes. After 50%, I thought that it would zip right along but it is just chugging along. But they are going to be excellent headphones.

It took me a while to set these up, but after hearing the sound they offer was well worth it. The sound is awesome and superb with an app where you can control the bass, treble, etc. The only qualm I have is that they tend to heat up your ears after listening for an hour or longer. But with the sound they offer, that is definitely not that big of a deal.
