We would like to help you troubleshoot this and turn this to a better experience. You may try and set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode. The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.

Good, except defective

They are not that different than the XM3s, which is fine because those were still great headphones. Unfortunately, my XM4s were defective out of the box. They had a constant white noise that was distracting when listening to any music that was quiet, and the left ear had static that got worse the longer I used them. I wish I could exchange them for another pair, but my local store is out of them, so I'll have to wait more to try them again. Disappointed in the quality.
