But you are right in relation to the touch control. I'm not getting the pause when I double tap, that I do when I use my Bose in NC700s. However the volume up and the forward and reverse or should I say forward track and previous track. Does seem to work.

Thank you for the purchase! We're glad to hear you like the sound quality of the Sony headphones. We do apologize for the inconvenience. The sensor of the touch sensor control panel is built into the flat surface of the right unit. Operate within the range of the sensor. When you swipe your finger forward/backward or up/down on the touch sensor control panel, the touch sensor control panel may not work correctly depending on the angle at which the headset is worn or the direction your head is facing. Also, the headset will not operate correctly when you operate the headset with your fingernail or a gloved hand. Remove your glove, and operate the headset with the ball of your finger.

Wow can I just say I’m no expert but these are amazing. My teenage son did research for me and said “get these”. The NC feature is amazing. Sound is amazing these are amazing! With the $70 price drop makes these a win-win! The only issue I had was using in vehicle as a passenger could regulate wind noise so I had to shut off NC. so far my only issue but this would be the case with any true NC headphones per my son. Wind noise and NC are perfectly fine outside of a vehicle

If the wind noise is still loud, turn off the noise-canceling function and ambient sound mode.

I am currently able to drown out some incredibly loud building construction without blowing my ear drums apart. My husband and I both bought a pair. I love the touch to talk feature that lowers the noise cancelling so you can talk to your partner, then just go back to listening to music, or watching tv. I have to check sometimes to see if construction is really still happening because it gets that tuned out.

You can change the level of noise cancelling you would like when you're walking, running, on the bus or just hanging out. You can not hear anything but peaceful silence when the nose cancelling is in full effect. I would recommend these to everyone that wants that quiet time in noisy places. The other features of the headphone are great as well. These are well rounded amazing noise cancelling headphones. They're worth every penny.

I got them on sale which is even better. They sound fantastic. The biggest benefit for purchasing these is the advertised industry leading noise canceling abilities. For once something lives up to the claim. They have been fantastic when used at the gym to cancel out the music played by the gym or the sound of the treadmill. Can't wait to try them when i mow my grass for the first time in the Spring.
