Good ANC + sound but uncomfortable

Their main advantage, though is the noise cancelling. The only thing is, they're uncomfortable after wearing them for a little while. I would also not recommend this item if you need to switch smoothly between devices. You have to manually disconnect from the other device before you can use the other.

Touch volume adjustments on the outer right earpiece are a little touchy. Volume level doesn’t get quite as loud as I would personally like, but at least it is distortion free. One of my favorite purchases nonetheless!

We're glad that you like the sound quality, battery life, comfort, and noise canceling function of the headphones. Your feedback about the multipoint function is greatly appreciated. Depending on the device, silent streaming can continue on the first device when the second device has a Bluetooth connection to the headphones. If this is the case, the headphones remain connected to the first device, and the audio doesn't switch to the second device.
Follow these steps to hear sound from the second device:
1. Open the Sony | Headphones Connect app, select the System tab, and make sure the Connect to 2 devices simultaneously option is set to ON.
2. Stop playback on the first connected device.
3. Close the audio (music) application on the first connected device.

Noise Cancelling is just too amazing, put music on and you won't hear anything else but the music. Many cool features like automatically switching to ambient sound and analyzing your ears to optimize both the noise-canceling and the sound. Midnight Blue is a cool color too, looks like the iPhone 12's Pacific Blue.

Previously I had a pair of Sony MDR-XB950B1. There is really no comparing the XM4's to them. The only thing that was "better" with the 950's was the bass. But that was only if you were a fan of really fake "boomy" bass. Highly recommend these headphones.

Have used mostly via 3.5mm headphone connector. The bluetooth works fine, but the Sony Android app kind of sucks.
