But not $200 better. The xm4 are also more comfortable for big heads like me, along with big ears. You can get these on a great deal (usually $250), which I am extremely happy with.

The headphones are very comfortable even after hours of use and the ambient noise feature is great. I initially went into the store thinking I would get a pair of Bose headphones, but am so happy I decided to browse around.

Revolutionary headphone at its best version

I can get work done at the office even with people having conversations a few feet away. You can go on a plane and can enjoy the movie. During the pandemic, we don't do these but the revolutionary technology still stands. On top of everything else, it has great sound. Other high end headphones assume some really quiet environment to sound good. I've had great sounds at 3AM in the morning off some high end headphones but daily noise it's just not that great sounding. With the Sony, you can hear the details in your music during the middle of the day, going for a walk on a noisy street (with safe walk only paths) or just for a nap. For all movies, I just use headphones now. Roku lets you watch a stream from your phone while watching on the TV and we just do that when we watch a movie together. These headphones give you peace and quiet when you need it and loud and noisy when you need them without bothering anyone else and letting anyone else bother you. Game changing technology.

Great headphones!!

She just went on a flight and they were great with allowing her to jear her music over the airplane noise. They also maintain a charge long enough to last for her all day.

Better than Bose or Beats at the same price level. These are comfortable. The mic is great for calls and zoom sessions. Then, when you need music the sound and clarity are the best without being overly base thumpy. The case is great too.

Comfortable with great sound quality

They are very comfortable and sound amazing, deep bass, clear mids, and clear highs. The highs aren't so sharp that they're ear piercing though but they are very clear.

Great Headset

Got it for my work from home office. Being able to connect to two devices at once is great. The mic could be a bit better, but works sufficiently well. Battery life is plenty sufficient. Got it on Black Friday sale, so price was reasonable. I only wish there was a mute button on the headset, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Excellent choice of headphones

Fortunate for me the newer model M5 came out a few days after my purchase. The sound remains the same but the new features such as the larger ear pads make them that much more comfortable.

The sound is stellar. The ANC is unbelievable. The look is incredibly clean. The functions are above all else. Even the app glows well to have the added functionality. Like this new headphones over Bose

The sound is great, but it can't cover my ears fully which makes the noise cancellation function less effective. I tried the new Sony WH-1000XM4 at a local Best Buy store and really like the comfort and sound quality. : )
