The feature vs. other brands is what sold me on these. The adaptive noise canceling and volume functions are great. Also, the pause by placing hand over the right ear is a great feature, so you dont have to pull the headset off.

Great ANC with bassy sound.

Makes some music sound a little muddy. Can probably fix this in EQ, but these were really comfortable and the ANC is really good. Recently got these for a 15 hr flight and they worked well.

EXCELLENT for travelling.

The Sony hides more noise than the Bose and I could tell during an 8 hr plane trip....yes....I wore both during the trip. The Bose are great, but these cancel more. They encapsulate your ears slightly better. HOWEVER...the Bose sound better, more crisp, better sound clarity. You can get a similar sound profile if you edit the profile in the Sony App by increasing the mids and a little on the highs. Also, I was not a fan of the touchpad sensitivity and area of activity. The Sony use the entire surface so hoodies, hair, pillows, etc activated the controls. On the Bose, the active area is infront of the headband bar which acts as a sort of barrier. At the end, Bose are my go-to because they are superior in comfort, sound and everyday cancellation. The Sony's are my travel ones....since I went past my return window :)

Great for air travel, great noise cancelling

Used for several 8+ hour flights and at airport terminal, and never felt any discomfort. Felt like I was in a bubble and no one else around. Great for air travel.

Excellent upgrade! Best noise cancelling headphone

They are by far the best sounding noise-cancelling headphones out there. I've tried offerings from Bose, Sennheiser and a few others. The sound on the Sony are by far the most realistic, with a well balance between bass, treble and mids.

Great for noise cancellation especially if you want to go deaf haha but really they were good while they lasted. For $300 though I expected more

Excellent choice in headphones

They are comfortable on your ears and block out almost all sounds. I can not even hear when someone knocks on my door,. I would buy again when I need a new pair

Very confortable on the ears and the battery life is amazing. Have them for almost a week using them every day and have not recharged them once yet. The noise cancellation is awesome. I never tried the new Sony line of the noise cancelling headphones but I was pleasantly surprised. However, I feel like using them to talk on the phone is not so good, the other person has trouble hearing me when it is noisy around me. Also it comes with a bag and an airplane adapter and a cable which is very convenient.
