Needs more bass

The over all sound doesn't have enough impact. Needs more bass to provide a fuller sound. I adjusted the EQ as much as possible to achieve the sound I was looking for, but just couldn't get there. My XB900N headphones have spoiled me. Sony, please bring back the XB900N rather than the current XB910N.

Hands down my favorite pair of headphones

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been pleased in every single way by the performance of this headphones, I’ve had both the M1 and M2 versions in the past and I got to say this one is just at good or even better in every quality as those. I also some beats solo and studio headphones and these are far superior compared to beats. This thing has one of the best Active noise canceling in any headphones out there. Even though they are expensive they go on sale quite often and there are plenty of good opportunities to buy them in a good deal. One thing I did find that has gone down compared to the previous models is the unboxing experience, and how it feels. The older model felt premium, the cups had some texture and look unique. The complete smooth plastic feel is something I don’t like too much. That aside this is still a great buy and would recommend anyone looking amazing noise canceling headphones.

These were perfect! The app allows you to adjust ambient sound or switch to noise cancelling and the sound is so crisp! If you’re wearing them and walking around, it will automatically switch you to ambient so you can hear your surroundings. I am in loveeeee with the matte color too and for a fraction of the price of AirPod Max’s!

Great head phones

They fit perfectly and wear them for long time. You can easily forget you have them on. They control ambient sound very well and do good job even while doing the lawn. They mange lawn mower sound to some level.

Very Crisp Sound Quality

Sounds great, some quirky features

They do shut off when you lay down if the automatic shut off is activated. Simple fix but kind of a weird feature. The blue LED light blink randomly. Unsure how to stop that from happening.

Not a keeper for me

Was using AirPods Pro which work very well but sometimes bugs my ears. Back to the Sony headphones… Sound is pretty good, not great. Seems to have some crackle at times. Could be the Bluetooth connection which is also why I’m returning them. They have a really hard time staying connected to our LG OLED C2 which hasn’t been a problem for the AirPods or other buds. Too frustrating. Purchased Bose QC Ultras to try instead. Much more money of course but way better sound and no more connection problems.

To improve the responsiveness, make sure you are using the flat part of your finger to tap and swipe, and not just the fingertip. Best headphones I've used

The audio quality out of the box is crazy good and I only had to tweak the EQ a tiny bit to get the bass exactly where I wanted it. The muffs do get a little hot after a while and can make my ears sweaty but I usually don't end up using them that long except on flights.

Excellent sound

I returned them and purchased the xm4, and was instantly pleased with the sound. And even more so after going through and setting up my sound preference. Super happy with the sound quality. It doesn’t get super loud as some have mentioned, but that’s probably not a bad thing, as it may save our hearing. And it looks a lot better than the xb910’s.
