Beware of cheap plastic and terrible support.

A long battery life and fast recharging, the noise cancelling is exceptional as is the sound quality. My issues begin with simply taking them off my head after a meeting and hearing two parts hit the ground. The plastic and u clip holding the right ear cup was now on the floor and the earpiece was dangling via the wire, floppy and dead like the brick they had become. I contacted support and was told that they won’t replace them because of "physical damage" These headphones have never been dropped, miss treated in any way, they are treated with the respect that spending 350 bucks should have earned them. I won’t be buying anymore Sony headphones and I certainly regret recommending them to colleagues.

Easy to connect with any device, I like using it for my switch and phone. Noise-canceling works well and has long battery life. I wish it were easier to change settings in IOS like with AirPods and to change settings in the control center, but that is more of an Apple issue rather than a headphone issue.

If you take the headphone off it pauses the movie. The noise cancelling is not as good as Bose but a slight increase of volume compensates. Battery life is phenomenal, yes 3-4 movies easy before charge necessary. Recharges swiftly too.

Sony M4 - I love them.

I had an M4 for 2.5 years, they were my first ever wireless, Bluetooth, and noise canceling headphones. I broke them accidentally after getting them soaked while I was kayaking, my fault, not the headphones’. Knowing that the M5’s just came out, I did my research and the M4’s are still just as good. So I have spent lots of money on the same pair twice and have no regrets. Another reason I love my headphones. In my attached pic is me in the far background while my wife is holding my phone. That’s about 70ft at least and the connection is still solid. I have had my headphones on my front porch and be mowing in the backyard with the house in between and still have connection. Also, I got these headphones from Best Buy and it got delivered early! Love the headphones and had a great buying experience as well. And I have a big head and they fit perfectly.

Great headphones from what I know so far.

It was mainly charged as it only took 30 minutes to fully charge out of the box. Setup and pairing was easy. I’ve paired them with my iPhone, Windows PC, and iPad Pro with no problems. These are my first set of noise cancelling headphones so not sure what others are like but I’m really impressed with them! Music sounds clear (you may have to play around with equalizer). Working from home, I’ll have less distractions with these! I plan to pair these with the V-Moda Boom Pro mic And use them for taking calls. BTW, these work great with games on PC. So far, so good. Worth every penny in my opinion! My only complaint so far is the headphones tend to “creak” when in use (especially when I yawn or move my jaw). Not sure if that makes but it’s only a minor annoyance. Other than that, excellent!!!

I travel from time to time so this is more convenient. Noise cancellation is very good.

They have a bunch of different sound settings that you can tweak to fit what you’re listening to. There’s a bunch of features I didn’t know about for a while until I read the instructions so I recommend doing that! The battery lasts forever even when I forget to turn them off!

Best sound and bass. Cons: No Siri support! Battery doesn’t last as long as the x3s. I love these to much I might get a second pair for guitar practicing and working out.

I am extremely impressed by how good they are at noise cancelling. Another great feature is the ability to connect 2 different Bluetooth devices at the same time. This comes in handy when I work as I can connect to my MacBook and my iPhone at the same time.

Multi-Connect is everything!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Working from home and handling numerous Zoom calls and phone calls was tiresome with AirPod Pros, and having to disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth all the time. The magic of these Sony WH-1000XM4 (terrible name) is that it connects to both my Mac and iPhone simultaneously and is able to switch back and forth with ease without all the disconnecting. The noise cancelling is also excellent. Highly recommend these.
