Excellent Headphones

They are replacing an older model WH-1000XM3, that broke just as the warranty expired. I hope these last longer, as they are the best for blocking airplane noise.

Great Headphones

Superb noise canceling coupled with easy access to the airplane's entertainment system made the flight a relatively good experience, much more comfortable than I have sufferied in the past. I recommend these Sony headphones unreservedly.

As do I he can listen to his music, watch his shows/movies on his phone or laptop and I don’t have to hear it lol. It’s great... He even talks on his phone & face time calls with the headphones. Noice Canceling at its finest

I love midnight blue color. Call quality has been very clear. And music fits my likening (listen to mostly gospel music and watch a lot of YouTube). Have not had any problems with connecting to my Note 20 Ultra.

Sound Quality? Meh.

No. I completely understand the purpose it serves under the factor of convenience. The noise-cancellation is fantastic, the call microphones are alright, and the fit and comfort are out of this world, though slightly clampy for a big head like me. What I dislike, however, is how meh and uninspired the sound quality is. I would hope from a headphone this expensive that the sound would at least be much more clear and crisp. Instead, the XM4 has this awful muddyness to it. Personally, I find it to be unbearable, however your mileage may vary, when headphones are all bass. And the XM4's really are just mud and bass. Perhaps this headphone isn't aimed at me, but still, I would love a pair of good travel headphones that don't sound like being drowned underwater while your favorite music plays. If you are someone who isn't very keen or just doesn't care about sound as much as convenience and comfort, these are for you. I completely understand that side, and I would recommend them for commutes. But general listening, you can do way better.
