Posted .Hi TaylorV, Thanks for sharing your feedback! We're glad you are happy with the noise cancelling featture of your headphones. These steps may help you when the touch sensor is not responding correctly:
The sensor of the touch sensor control panel is built into the flat surface of the right unit. Operate within the range of the sensor.
-When you swipe your finger forward/backward or up/down on the touch sensor control panel, the touch sensor control panel may not work correctly depending on the angle at which the headset is worn or the direction your head is facing.
a. When you swipe your finger forward/backward, make the movements perpendicular to the headband.
b. When you swipe your finger up/down, make the movements parallel to the headband.

Simply Awesome

Have these alongside a pair of Bose QC 35ii and the sound is much more full. Noise cancelling is on par if not slightly better than the Bose. Prefer the sound of the Sony’s and really dig the inclusion of USB-C. These are great overall.

The sound of this headset approaches that if not equals that of high-priced corded cans. If you want great sound, BUY THIS MODEL! It's better in its sound stage than its predecessor, the WH-1000XM3, which is also a great value!

I would say the Bose are a little more comfortable. But the Sony's have better ANC and more features. Both really good head phones , can't go wrong with either in my opinion. But I am really happy with these.

Good iteration, Not Worth Upgrading Unless needed

If you have the 3s keep those, if your 3s finally started to break down get these. If your 3s are still good, keep them and get these when/if they ever falter.

I like the bronze touches on the black ones a little more, but the blue is a nice change from the seas of black, not so light that it’ll show wear and not a garish color.

I wanted to love these

I can listen to music. They are comfortable to wear. I absolutely can NOT use them for work. I work from home and the sound quality is horrid. I purchase other headphones that are a fith of the cost of these that were 1000x better in call sound quality.
