I am not an audio tech. All I know is, they are comfortable for me, wearing them for most of two 15 hour flights, and the depth and clarity of sound is wonderful. Great around the house too. For the trips, the battery lasted my guess about 20-25 hours. Disconnected a few times with head movement.

As one not normally discount the quality of Bluetooth over wired headsets, I have to say that these pack a major punch! Bass is incredible, the highs and mids are phenonimal. 28-30hr battery make them great fro travel. Using noise cancelling on my last flight - I couldnt hear a thing aside from my music - and no one could hear what I was playing. The app is nice and has an equalizer. One perk is an option to turn on voice assist, which can turn off noise cancelling if you get a call/start talking. 10/0 would reccomend!

These were a gift from my spouse, and they are amazing. They cancel out any noise. When I am busy cleaning, I play music and when I speak the music automatically stops and the noise cancelling changes. I just need to tap on the right side of the headphones for the music to start again or wait until the outside noise stops and it will start again on its own. This is a great feature because my hands may be covered in cleaning materials, and I do not wish to touch my headphones but want my music to continue playing when I am done talking. The battery seems like it last forever and the headphones are very comfortable.

Excellent headphones, very comfortable with great sound and noise cancelling as well as battery life. I used them when traveling, very happy with them.

I've been looking for a pair of bluetooth headphones for work and running, and after seeing these on sale I got them. Battery lasts a long time. The noise cancelling feature is maybe my favorite part about them. I can still hear if someone needs to grab my attention, but it blocks out all of the other noises I dont want to hear. Music and audiobooks sound great. I recommend.

I love the ANC capability of these headphones. I've had the XM-2s for the last 6 years or so and they were still going strong. The only reason I upgraded was because of the sale and ease of charging (they were my only device that was still on the old USB type). I gifted those to a friend and changed over to these. Battery life is still excellent, comfort can't be beat, and I still can't hear babies crying on an airplane with only needing to turn the volume up to below midpoint. These are my ideal headphones and I will sweat by them over other brands, having tried beats and Bose before and just not being as satisfied.

Great headphones, Ive had them for quite some time now and they still feel fresh out the box. The bass is amazing, it almost shakes your head, and the quality of the sound is just unimaginable. Something you need to tryout for yourself.

Absolutely the best ANC headphones you can get. I use these everyday and charge only twice a week. I commute by train everyday on the NYC subway and it’s very noisy but with these headphones when ANC kicks in it takes all the noise away and I’m in my own little world enjoying my music as I sit for my stop. Extremely comfortable headphones and have worn them for 3 hours straight without any ear pain. Yes if the weather is warm they will head your ears up and cause sweat. Be careful using these outside in the rain. They don’t react well to water. As they should since they are not water proof.... There are firmware updates once in a while and I believe the app may be set by default to grab them automatically if connected to wifi. App is also great just wish they didn’t remove the sound simulator that was in the app for the XM3. I bought the black and midnight blue color for my wife. Honestly they look the same. The midnight blue is very close to black. I should have bought the silver instead. No big deal though. Please be warn that if you have an apple device you will only be able to use AAC codec not LDAC. Also the bass response is clean and can further be adjusted via EQ on App.

Its definitely worth buy, i already have Bose 700 , and it does pretty good job on NC but music signature is pretty normal and lacking Bass. Pros of Sony - Excellent NC - Switching Ambient Control based on Status - 360 Reality Audio is excellent. - Music is really balanced. - Has EQ to adjust music based on signature - Very good battery life compared to Bose - Cushion Ear cup are pretty comfortable and soft - Bluetooth connection seamless between iphone or Sony Music Connect App - Also it comes with stat where you can see your headphone usage - Touch sensor are good but could be better - You can adjust ambient noise just covering Right Ear cup while speaking, it will then allow noises in , reduces music sound Cons - Noise Cancelations is pretty Good but Outside I think Bose is better with little more points. But I would say 100 NC is not also advisable during transit. - Touch sensor is responsive but could be more efficient Overall I would give 8.5/10 based on Build , Music Quality features, NC Bose 700 - 7/10

I love these headphones. They have all the features I was looking for and more I didnt consider. 1) great for work - you can be connected to your laptop and phone at the same time 2) the active noise cancellation doesnt give me a headache 3) the passive noise cancellation is great and the headphones are comfy for long periods 4) battery life is superior

Really it’s like 4.5/5 because I wish the headphones could switch more easily between devices. But the noise cancelling customisation is top tier. They are very comfy and the fact there is an option to connect these to a 3.5mm jack makes these absolutely the best. I have only charged these like 2 times in the last year. They have great battery life and the standby time is also amazing

Very good sound quality and noice canceling. There could be better insulation from outside noise and although the headphones do an amazing job in most environments, they struggle to cancel out certain noises in real time, such as in a coffee shop. I love that they can be used both wired and wirelessly, so sound quality doesn't have to be sacrificed. The app could be better and Bluetooth connectivity can cut out if multiple devices are carried together. Overall, they're a solid choice for the money.

Hands down best wireless ANC around IMO. Lots of great features, sound & noice cancelling. Compares favorably, IMO to Airpods Max even if evenly priced, which of course they’re not (these are 50% less). These are very comfortable, much lighter on your head than Airpods Max which gave me a headache. Sound quality very similar. Noise cancelling very similar. Not as good ambient sound. Can connect to two devices simultaneously (i.e. TV & iPhone at same time) 30+ hours listening time vs 20 from Airpods Max. Includes aux cable & hard travel case. Airpods Max do not include aux cable & it’s case is flimsy & annoyingly required to keep headphones at low power state. Sony’s charge via USB C. Airpods Max do not, insisting on Lightning cable. I prefer Sony’s over Airpods Max & think they’re the best bluetooth noise cancelling headphones on the market today.

The sound is fantastic…, very comfort where it seats in the ears… for an autistic son I do recommend… and battery lasts more than 24 hours… it’s amazing

Had to grab these after my Beats Studio 3s broke after falling from 2 feet. The sound quality in these is levels better and the sound connect app just makes the experience so much more personalized. Build quality is nice for the price point and isn’t a bunch of plastic everywhere. Great sized case and comes with 3.5mm jack, EU connector, and charging cable. Only thing is the charging cable is really short but you can just buy and aftermarket. Battery life is excellent and it connects to my iPhone, Mac, and TV seamlessly

Everything about these headphones is stellar. Battery life, noise cancellation, comfort, style. I use them when traveling the most, especially when flying and they’ve not only lived up to the 20-hour battery life after 6 months of frequent use, but the noise cancellation makes it trivial to fall asleep, even during take off! I use an iPhone and, while AirPods have the best user interface in my opinion, I have no qualms with the way these headphones work. I think the only place they’re somewhat lacking is with the all plastic design, but it gets the job done.

Light weight, Good noise cancellation, Comfortable, descent sound quality but falls short on big bass delivery. Good Value
