They say you get what you paid for, and every dollar spent on this headset was worth it friend! It is top-tier for everyday life, the noise cancellation is unmatched! You see lips moving and that’s how you know the person standing in front of you is talking. This Sony WH-1000XM4 is the way to go if you’ve been contemplating and debating friend. The combination of high-quality Bluetooth codecs, great sound, improved noise canceling, amazing battery life, and smart features like auto pause and Bluetooth multipoint allowing you to connect to two devices at once is a feature you didn’t know you were missing in your life until you have it. What sealed the purchase for me was the ear cup padding (it’s giving vegan) translate that how you desire. My previous headset pressed against my earlobes and gave me a headache after an hour. These Sony ear cup paddings surround the ear kinda like a newborn pillow lounger! I don’t like to leave reviews (ever) but I’ll spend hours reading reviews on a product I’m debating on. This is me paying it forward for all the reviewers that have helped me with past purchases.

Amazing active/noise cancelation and superior sound quality! One of my favorite pairs of headphones on the market, they’re light, come with a substantial case, include all cords, and last me days at a time before charging! They also have adjustable EQ and noise cancelation, something like the AirPods Max do not. One of my favorite gifts for family/friends!

I have iPods Pro 2s. I have the Sony XM4 buds, Samsung Pro buds, Pixel Buds Pro and even some nice Sennheiser open back studio headphones. The sound, comfort, ease of use and look of these headphones are by far my favorite of all. I also love that I can plug them in with a regular headphone jack to my work computer. The case is nice, the blue color I bought is beautiful. I waited so long to buy these because i had so many other headphones and really didnt need them. When they went on sale for $199 I couldn’t resist and im glad i didnt. They are amazing headphones and the noise cancellation is also top notch.

I haven’t owned a pair of headphones since the original beats studios came out, yes the ones that were once $400, attached to a wire, and required a battery in the headset to work. Headphones have come a long way since then, so I decided to pull the plug on these. I was in between these, the studios, or the Bose. What ultimately led to my final decision was the way the ear cups of the headphones sat on my ear, and the total battery life. I prefer my ears to sit inside rather than the piece sitting on my ears. I’ve tried the other headphones, bought a pair of studios for my daughter since they were on sale and I’ve tried them out in comparison to the Sonys, I’m glad I went with the Sonys. My ears sat more comfortably inside, and the color alongside the case is very nice. Overall sound quality is awesome, they drown out noise really well and I love that there’s an app where you can customize how you want certain music to play. I have seen these go on sale from time to time, but I couldn’t wait, I needed something for studying. They last extremely long without me having to charge frequently which is a big plus. The case itself isn’t large either, it’s more flat which I love in comparison to the bulky round beats case. Overall quality of these in comparison to the beats is way better in my opinion.

A very well designed and effective headphone. Industry-leading noise canceling really does it’s job. The gesture based controls are intuitive and effective. But my favorite feature is being able to create my own equalization profile via the app. They are very comfortable to use for extended periods of time, and the battery lasts at least 30 hours on a full charge. The included case is pretty great, too. See if you can find this exceptional product on sale. But even if it’s not, it’s worth every penny.

Unbeatable noise-cancellation quality and commendable audio quality make these the headphones to get when you need a quiet environment. Topping it all off is remarkable battery life (~30 hours). The main detriment is less than stellar connectivity options. It includes Sony's LDAC, but doesn't have any low-latency codecs.

I've been meaning to get a new pair for a while (I'm on the PC 24/7 streaming and working on art), and I've been looking at a pair of Sony's for years thanks to ANIME! My old pair was hurting my ears, good excuse, I don't regret my purchase. Love the style and color but I also love how almost versatile it is. The AUX port works very well when I need that direct connection but I've also been loving the wireless connection with my Phone (Pixel 7). There's also this automatic noise suppression and it's been a blessing so when I'm on a run I can still hear cars coming to get out of the way. The battery life is also SO GOOD, the range of the bluetooth is so far, I can go all the way to the basement while my phone is in my room (1st Floor, opposite side of the house). The price might be steep, but the quality is so worth it.

I've been wanting to purchase this item for a couple of years, and despite the time there are still excellent at deadening noise to isolate the user, with a highly competative price point. Despite the exsistance of it successor, the mx5, I opeted for these due to the pricing but more importatntly the compact size. These noise canceling headphone have exceeded my expectations, as not only do they provide excellent sound but can be used as a device to isolate low frequency noise to allow me concentrate on cognitive tasks. They do not completely counter all sound, as any active noise can still be heard but in a much more damped state. However, background noise, such as the tv in the other room or noise coming from a neighbour are vertuallyu neutralized. I am very please with this purchase, and at a price point of 250USD this was a great investment

I really like the comfortability and battery life of these headphones. The sound quality is very good. The noise cancelling is excellent outdoors and in the office. It's great to drown out the co-worker that has a conversation so loud its almost uncomfortable at 50 ft away. The app to connect and control works well on Android.

I’ve had these for a bit over two years now and used and abused these babies well. Still no issues with quality of sound or of the product. They are comfortable, sound great, and the noise cancelling works well. Battery life is also wonderful and I can’t tell if it’s diminished at all over time. A great purchase!

These are hands down the best headphones. They are adapted to your ear shape for optimal listening. The noise canceling is top notch. I have used them every single day for three years now. I am just now needing to replace them due to a drop/damage which was user error, no reflection on them. They are so comfortable and just absolutely the best. They fit entirely over the ear and the cushion is so soft.

Love these headphones. I wear them for long periods with glasses and they don’t bother me much. Noise cancelling and awareness features are excellent.

I love these. The battery last so long, they’re comfortable to wear for hours. I don’t have to worry about them getting scratched, they’re plastic, so they’re very durable. I wear them to study or to go to the gym… the sound quality is to die for and I can gladly mute the world around me.

I have never treated myself to nice headphones, I have only used the free bud set whenever I have upgraded my phone. With the lines starting to fray, I decided to do some research and buy a pair of bluetooth over the ear headphones. All blogs and reviews pointed to Sony WH-1000XM4, and when I went to Best Buy and tried them out vs others it confirmed it. Not only do they perform incredibly well- audio quality, bluetooth range, noise cancelling efficiency- but they are comfortable and really aesthetically pleasing. My husband bought the other main contender (Bose 700) and we were able to compare directly using the same songs. Though I think the audio is slightly better with them (more layered), Sony wins everywhere else and I am really glad I chose them.

These are the BEST headphones ever. The noise cancelling is top notch, I work a lot at coffee shops and there usually very noisy but the headphones practically block all the noise. It also has an option to stop the noise cancelling feature whenever you speak to hear better. And they do not hurt my ears, only when i use them for long hours at a time. Overall i recommend them highly if you want some nice noise cancelling headphones that aren't super expensive like the apple headphones.

very lightweight (in the best way) and comfortable! still playing around with the sound quality and preferences but so far, i really like it! very good for flights (noise-cancelling). bought this when it was on sale (cyber monday deals) and would say it's worth the price (though still slightly more expensive than what i would normally spend on headphones). very nice, compact packaging too

If you're looking for a pair of nice headphones that aren't necessarily the newest and greatest, but come at a good price I'd definitely recommend these. These sound great and the noise cancellation helps me focus while I'm in the office.

Im 65 yrs. old and have bought many earphones. FINALLY, found a pair thst didn't hurt my ears. These earphones are a dream for ear comfort. The sound is amazing and you have several choices such as more bass or kess. The sohnd options are wonderful. These are expensive to me, but worth every penny.

I really enjoy these headphones. I use them almost everyday and they are perfect when travelling. I love that they provide the headphone jack for airplanes. I had no idea that airplanes made this switch but the provided jack is CLUTCH! The noise cancelling feature is pretty darn good. Overall these headphones are worth a purchase. Very comfortable and one of the best features is that you can connect to 2 different devices at a time. Audio can easily switch from my phone to my laptop without much effort on my end.
