Battery life is nuts, noise canceling works well and the sound is very good as well. Ive had my headsets these are some of my favorite. Light and comfortable as well.

Sony has their act together! After four sets of trying to get the Bose 700 corrected to no avail I decided to switch course and purchase the WH-XM4, my only regret is why I didn’t do this sooner. The Sony’s are AWESOME! Great sound, best noice cancelling, best App, best equalizer and best battery. 30 hours of battery compared to well you don’t know with Bose 700s, their firmware is all messed up, and after four pairs it only got worse. Sony offers a great, stress free listening environment. Music is crisp and clear, bass is awesome, however you like to listen to your music you can customize it to your liking. Great highs, midrange and lows and all adjustable. I have a wide range of music, so I tested them with all types of music and so far after one day I’m totally impressed, Sony M4s gives the best sound for your dollar, I’m sold!

Perfect work/productivity headphones. Great sound and microphone quality. Excellent background rejection on the mic and excellent noise cancellation. They fit well, do not squeeze hard, and work with glasses wearers. I have had mine for close to 3 years now and use them for music and work calls daily. Battery and pads are still in great condition. 100% worth the money.

The predecessor, the WH-1000XM3s, were game changing for me. I’d never owned a pair of over-ears that I could comfortably wear all day and even night. These carry on much of what’s best about the XM3s. The padding is a little thicker, which is mostly great, but actually just a teeny bit less comfortable than the 3s to wear as a side sleeper at night, if you happen to need to. It’s a really minor difference though. The sound quality is better than I thought any bluetooth headphones could possibly be. The noose canceling seems very slightly improved over the 3s. Battery life is phenomenal. I can’t say if mine actually reach the 30 stated hours, but I can say they get over 24, which is pretty incredible. The 4s also have the ability to auto pause if you take them off. That’s kinda nice. They can also pair to two devices at once, which works... okay. If I use that, I get more “traditional” bluetooth issues like sudden un-pairing and re-pairing at random times. When paired to only one device, however, the connection stability is superb. Overall, it’s a great pair of headphones. Personally, I’m not sure if they’re worth the price premium over the WH1000-XM3s. I’m also not sure they aren’t worth it, though. It’s a close call. I still use both pairs every day.

Probably one of the beat purchases I have ever made for myself. The headphones are comfortable, have great sound quality. And most importantly cancel noise when I need to. The only downfall is that the headphones does pickup sound that is extremely close by. For example, I may have the noise cancelling setting on at work, and keying in numbers on a 10-key. Because the key strokes are so close, (less than a foot away) and loud, it seaps through the headphones. However, noise coming from further distances the headphones do block out. Other than that, the headphones have amazing battery life, are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and I really do like how taking of the headphones pauses the music.

I have been using the XM4s for over a week now and I must say I’m very impressed. I did a lot of research and watched reviews online before buying and I think the overall consensus is the same. The XM3s where and still are great headphones, but the XM4s fix all of the minor setbacks of the previous model and then some. Hands down I think the active noise canceling is among the very best and I can wear them comfortably for hours. I tried the new Bose 700s and although they are good, these are superior. The build quality is excellent, the audio quality is stellar, and the advanced features of these headphones bring the overall package to a whole new level. There really isn’t anything quite like it on the market as of yet, and it just shows that Sony has been paying close attention to their consumers. I highly recommend them!

They can be better. I really bought them because I was trying to connect my headphones to my PlayStation and since it was a Sony brand, I thought it was compatible, but it wasn’t. I keep having to use the wires to connect my PlayStation to the headphones, which is sometimes annoying But all in all they produce great audio, and the comfortability on them are amazing.

I spend a lot of time on the computer, with kids and spouse working around the house. We're all on slightly different schedules, which results in noise and disruptions (often, when it's least convenient). This headset has been a fantastic investment in sanity. I tried several different versions of noise cancelling headphones. These were extremely comfortable when I first tried them on. After 2 weeks of near daily, extended wear, they are still just as comfortable. The noise cancelling is excellent. Even with a lot of noise in the background, I can pay attention to online meetings (or just good music). Even without the active noise canceling, the headset itself does a reasonable job of keeping out low-levels of background noise. I charge them about every other night and have not had any concerns with battery life.

Yeah..... wow......really am I hearing this.. Sony is known for sound and high quality. These are an audiophiles....go to. Light weight. Can connect to more than one device. I have a Sony XBR z9f 65 TV. It connects with ease. Note 10 plus connects with ease. Easy n seemless transition. Here's how noise cancelation works....my shoulder has to be tapped on to get my attention when I'm walking or doing errands outside. For starters dont crank up the sound....train ur ears to listen at 25% volume and go up to 40%. A good head set does need to be blasted on high volume. From 25% to 40% your ears will listen to more sound than you never heard. Its like putting on glasses for the first time. Spend money on these headsets. 30 hr battery plus u can use a cord, can connect to multiple devices.

I love these headphones. I bought these in 2023 and they're still going strong. Fantastic noise canceling, great sound and the battery lasts a while on these, so no complaints here.

Very satisfied with these. I had the Bose 45s and they were great but lacked the bass. The beats are good too but they gave me ear fatigue. These are a good mix of both. For being wireless headphones, the sound is clear, full, well balanced and the bass is present, pretty clear and punchy. Having the ability to EQ on the app is cool too. I recently flew to Italy and the noise canceling works great and they were comfortable enough to wear the whole 12 hour flight. As a musician, they also work great as in-ears both in live and in studio settings.

Bought these headphones after having bought speakers and other headphones from them. What makes these stand out is not only the superb sound quality but the companion app that comes with it. The app allows for equalizer customization to the max. Noise cancellation is quite nice, especially being the passenger in a car or on a train, bus, ect. The other Bose headphones for around 399 have better noise cancellation but only by a small margin that I barely noticed. Just as Sony always touts it self, the bass on these bad boys can reach a perfect level without having fuzz. It takes a bit of playing around with the equalizer to find the best fit for you though. I’m a college student at the moment and it work great with zoom calls and phone calls. The call feature is great. It also has a track pad on the right ear cup that you can swipe on at different angles to lower, higher volume, skip songs, ect. The reason this is a 4 star and not a 5 start is that after about 8-10 hours of straight use (don’t judge me) the pressure from the crown of my head was painful, which is to be expected. Also, there was only one instance where the audio would stop and play for some unknown reason but was fixed with a simple off and on. I’d recommend these headphones over Bose, JBL, and other brands. My favorites BY FAR!

Did a lot of research on noise cancelling headphones and these still beat my expectations. I would give an A+ for overall sound, noise cancellation, comfort and design aesthetics. I listen to all genres of music, the sound is amazing and offers full EQ adjustments to suit your needs. I'm not an audiophile, but think most people would agree with the sound quality at this price point. I'm a bit nervous about the durability of these headphones despite not having any issues. They are so light that when I fold them up to put them in the case, I can only hope the components won't break from standard usage. That said, well worth the money! Nice job Sony!

These are great. The noise canceling is very good. My coysin was at my ear talking to me and i did not hear him. Sound is good. I got them on sale so the price was affirdable. The batter seems to ladt a long time. I have not had low battery once.
