You can adjust the volume of the headset and the connected device according to your preference. You may also play different song with different quality to further isolate the issue. High-quality songs will give you louder audio. Make sure to update the firmware of the headphones by performing a software update (via Sony Headphones Connect app). WH-1000XM4 headphones incorporate two technologies to maximize noise-canceling performance. These headphones have a built-in analog amplifier integrated into the HD Noise-Canceling Processor QN1 realizes an unmatched signal-to-noise ratio for low distortion and exceptional sound quality for portable devices.
