Thank you for your time writing this review. We are glad you like the excellent noise canceling features of the WH1000XM4. However, we are sorry to hear your discomforts while using the headphones for a long period of time. Adjusting the headband and the earpads properly can help reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones. These headphones actually support super-soft, pressure-relieving earpads in foamed urethane evenly distribute pressure and increase ear/pad contact for a stable fit.
