great but don't buy it on best buy,buy on amazon

Now while they are good when it comes to noise cancelling and quality of sound, they fail in terms of the audio quality when answering or being on calls. All people who answered the calls on the other end say that the sound is distant or robotic or tunnel like and not clear. I'm on my third pair after i bought and returned the first two, including calling SONY support, on the actual headsets to troubleshoot and advised to return them for a different set. All three headsets exhibited the same issue on phone calls or even conference calls on my computer/laptop. Even though i like the music quality, and quality build, i'll probably return them for a Bose.

Big upgrade from M1 to M4

I really like the dual Bluetooth pairing feature and the USB-C charging. Auto pause when headphone is taken off is also a welcome upgrade. Some features on the app can be confusing.

I'm honestly shocked that these have any good reviews. I used to have an older, cheaper version of these that cracked and broke so I decided to buy this model and that was a huge mistake. Here's why I hate them: (1) They disconnect from whatever they're paired with for no reason over and over and over again. (2) When they are connected, the idiotic "speak to chat" feature is automatically enabled each time you turn the headphones on. You can turn it off, but it automatically turns itself back on at random, so anytime you make a sound while wearing the headphones (like sneezing, breathing, opening the fridge door, anything that produces an audible noise) the sound automatically pauses. (3) The Bluetooth voice that says "Power on," "Power off", "Bluetooth connected", etc is at MAX volume and there is no way to adjust it. It is WAY TOO LOUD. In conclusion, these headphones are horrible and I'm so mad that I wasted any money on them.

We want to help resolve these issues: For the disconnections, please ensure the headphones' firmware is updated and try resetting them to factory settings via the Sony | Headphones Connect app. You can permanently disable 'Speak-to-Chat' in the app; if it keeps reactivating, this is usually solved by a firmware update or a full reset. The volume of the voice guide is linked to the system volume of your connected device, so please try lowering that volume before powering on the headphones. I expected much more for the price

The noise-cancelling is nice but I hate that I can only be connected to 1 device at a time. I have them set to work with my phone and my tablet but if I last used them on my tablet, I am unable to connect with them on my phone until I turn off the Bluetooth on the tablet.
