Very disappointed as I've had many Sony products over the years and this is the first time I've had an issue with one of their products.

We are sorry if the Speak-to-Chat function of these headphones didn't meet your expectations. The Speak-to-Chat mode activates when it detects the speech of the person wearing the headset, but in rare cases, it may activate in response to the voices of other people, ambient environmental sounds, transportation announcements, etc. Disable Speak-to-Chat in cases where the Speak-to-Chat mode frequently activates by accident.
You can also change the sensitivity of the automatic audio detection in the Sony | Headphones Connect app.

The noise cancelling and comfort is very good. These are very disappointing for a $350 set of headphones. Also the controls are not quite as user friendly as you would hope for.

To improve the seal and minimize audio bleed, please ensure the earcups are fully covering your ears without any gaps caused by hair or glasses, and try adjusting the headband for a tighter fit. You can also use the Sony | Headphones Connect app to run the Ambient Pressure Optimizer, which helps calibrate the noise canceling and seal based on your current wearing conditions.

Pretty upset

The noise canceling was awesome. The sound was awesome. Just about every feature was great. Then in March, a mere 8 or so months later, they stopped charging. I tried looking up a fix to this issue and it seems that this is a pretty common occurance. Not what I expected out of a $300 pair of headphones. I'm pretty upset as I likely now have to send them in to be repaired.

They have amazing sound, and amazing noise cancelling but every time you press any button for any reason you receive a sonic bee sting. I tried to power through it but I've given up on these headphones and sony as well because both sets of sony headphones I have do the same thing with no ability to turn it off. I feel bad for hating on these for such a petty reason but there is literally no reason I shouldn't be able to turn off the announcer or beeps.

Excellent But For Bluetooth Connectivity

Only 2 connected systems at the same time allowed and switching between these is not user friendly. I was also hoping that connection to a high end sony tv like a1e will be a bit easier and also user friendly. Bluetooth operation on these excellent in general phones is like texting on flip phone experience.
