We would like to help you troubleshoot this and turn this to a better experience. You may try and set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode. Disappointed

I bought these to replace those. drawn in by the promise of better battery live with the BT5.0. Very disappointed in the differences between them. The MX2 was more stylish with the leather on the outside of the cups, and the exposed portion of metal on the headband. It also had way better battery life. I consistently got the 30+ advertised life on the old ones, but I'm lucky to get 24 on the new ones. Still great headphones, sound wonderful, very comfortable.
