We're glad that you like the sound quality of the headphones. It's unfortunate that you are not having a complete experience because of the battery life.

The usage time varies depending on the setting or how they are used. To conserve battery life, turn off the DSEE HX Auto or Equalizer setting on the Sony | Headphones Connect app. Note: The available battery life significantly decreases when these settings are used at the same time.

You can also check the Automatic Power Off function of the headphones. This function turns off the headphones depending on your needs. For more information, please refer to this link:

Although we can use the WH1000XM4 while working out, we do not recommend wearing these headphones while heavy sweating as this unit is not waterproof. If water or a foreign object enters the unit, the headphones might damage.
