Might be good for most people

I do not like one of the features of this newer version. It adjusts the volume based on your environment. I am hearing impaired, so that can be disruptive.

My $100 earphones sound beter

Sure, they cancel out most noise, but what's the point of that if they're going to sound bad? My Bose SoundSport Wireless (2 year old) earphones sound WAY better than these ~$300 headphones. I didn't have a lot of expectations going in for a Sony (being used to Bose/JBL). Somehow, I still came out disappointed. Would NOT recommend to anyone who cares about audio quality even one bit :(
