Best NC headset I have ever used

They fit very comfortably over my reading glasses and I can wear them all day. The battery life is long enough for a twelve hour work day. Very consistent Bluetooth. No problem connecting every single time and very easy to use.

Small issues, but still great headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My one gripe with these is that they sometimes cut out while I’m listening to music. The other thing is that when I’m connected to two devices (IOS), and I take a call, it messes with the whole system until I can figure it out. This could be my own user error so take this with a grain of salt. That being said, these are probably the comfiest headphones I’ve had the pleasure of owning. They might be plastic, but that doesn’t take away from the overall quality at all. I can wear these for hours on end without it hurting my ears or head (and it never has hurt…ever). The sound is great for a casual listener without trained ears, and I love the way they look. Overall, those small issues might take away from these slightly, but I would absolutely buy them again.

I recently graduated college with my masters and love using them to study or simply being deep in thought with the ANC feature. However they were stolen. Now I only have the memories of studying together, getting ready for football games, long walks, and helping me with my mental health. Holding one hand on one ear cuff was a killer feature so I can talk and hear my surroundings. I highly recommend and I know the M5 may be even better.

Quality over loudness

The crispy, smooth sounds controlled by the connection eq make these headphones great. Noise canceling could be a bit stronger, giving more volume. They lasted three days on full charge.

They’re super comfy and plush, and NOT too heavy. The noise cancelling function is outrageous! And the speak to mute function comes in handy… the app helps you adjust volume and eq…. And you can change the LEVEL of noise cancelling!

Best headset for my needs.

Previous version broke after a few months, but this set has held for well over a year with no drop in sound quality both Bluetooth and wired. I use them on my PC with a separate bluetooth adapter for my computer and there is no quality issue. I use my headset for gaming, listening to music, and watching videos. A few issues to list: -Speak to chat often enables itself and I have to disable it by holding 2 fingers on the right side. This happens at random when I talk to people around me with the headset on. -If others in your household also have wireless headsets, the connection might struggle. (Roomates have wireless Steelseries). -No PC interface, it all has to be done through your phone app, which I rarely open. -A little pricey. It's a really good headset, but I would like more people to have access to this.

The Speak-to-Chat mode activates when it detects the speech of the person wearing the headset, but in rare cases it may activate in response to the voices of other people, ambient environmental sounds, transportation announcements, etc. Disable Speak-to-Chat in cases where the Speak-to-Chat mode frequently activates by accident.

Unfortunately, the Sony Headphones Connect app is only supported on iOS and Android mobile devices.

They’re everything I wanted and more

I get overstimulated a lot and I really wanted a pair of headphones that had noise cancelling (I have a pair of AirPods but I feel like they don’t do much) and these are perfect. I wear them everyday, at home and at work and sometimes to sleep (they do stay on!) and they’re super comfortable. 10/10. I would buy another pair for sure.

Great headphones, great battery life.

It does a great job keeping out droning noises, but if there's a loud bang anything like that it would pick it up and pause anything I'm listening to at the moment. I've used this for long flights and it's been a godsend for when there are crying children on flights. I've worn it for about 8-10 hours at a time during flights or when I'm honed in on gaming/work and it does get quite hot around the ears so you will sweat. Not sure how to get around that, but the noise canceling, audio quality, and battery life were well worth the purchase. This pair is probably my most expensive purchase as far as OTE headphones go but was worth it. There's an app that you need to download with it but I don't really touch it. Sort of a set and forget and only go back to it if I need to toggle certain settings.

Love the the clear sounds of the music I listen to as a dj I can actually hear the highs and lows of the the music. Clear sound of the spoken words I can actually hear the words very clean and clear. I also have the ability to turn on a setting that will allow for automatic stoppage of my music if a call comes in or if someone walks up to me while wearing these headphones. The fit over my ear is comfortable and not pitching. Nice snug fit.

Worth the money

The cord unfortunately does not have a mic but you can make calls with the bluetooth and the other person will hear you clearly, The plastic is sturdy and light weight. Battery life is good!
