International air travel? Buy these headphones.

The batter life is amazingly long, enough for an international flight and the subsequent connecting flight. These headphones improve the sound quality and clarity of in-flight movies so much they make the trip seem shorter because the movies are better. They even helped block the wailing of a crying baby in the row behind me. I cannot recommend these enough. Solid case, and all the attachments you need to connect to phones, tablets, or the in-flight entertainment.

Great but Pricey

Good Sound Quality and Noise Cancellation

They're very comfortable, look stylish and best of all have fantastic sound quality. I have always had issues understanding lyrics in many songs, but with these headphones I have heard more lyrics than ever before. The battery life is excellent and the touch controls work well. The only real complaint I have with them is that the ambient sound being piped in in the ambient sound mode is rather crunchy sounding and greatly exaggerates some noises.

I originally wanted the airpod maxes, but these were the more affordable option. I absolutely LOVE them. they're sleek, great quality and I rave about them to everyone. They're really nice for travel/going on walks with, or when I need good noise cancelling. The battery life is AMAZING. i've had them for like 6 months now, and I literally can go a week or two without charging my headphones. My only thing is that I couldn't figure out how to connect to other devices that wasn't my phone, but honestly I don't even care much about that.

I've owned plenty of beats, skull candy's, and Ipods but none of come close to the sound quality, comfortability and customization of these. 10/10 would recommend.

Battery life is amazing, one charge lasts me a week and i listen to music A LOT. Noise canceling is no joke, but the ambient sound is so hepful. Headphone settings are a bit difficult to learn but once you get a hang of it, it is so easy. They are so comfortable and lightweight, which is a bit of a downside for when working out, so keep that in mind. As someone who has used Beats, JBL, and Boise, I can genuinely say that these are my favorite.

comfy and good anc, but look ridiculous
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i really liked them, but ultimately decided to return them. i've listed pros and cons below: - app not user friendly / intuitive to use - hot!! makes my head feel so warm - so much pressure in my ears and head like im on a plane makes me slightly nauseouus - $279 pre-tax (on sale) - no way up to 30 hours of wear... came at 100% out of the box and already at 50% after a couple hours of wear at most - sound pretty good out of the box - i look like a space goof - slide off my head so i fee like im constantly readjusting at the gym - audio voice girl sounds normal - touch sensors don't work half the time like im trying to skip tracks and it registers are volume down - automatically pause when you remove them!! so helpful

While we're glad you like most of the features of these headphones, we regret to hear that the unit had to be returned. Your feedback regarding the breathability of the unit and Sony Headphones Connect app is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. Because the headphones achieve a tightly-sealed over the ears, this may tend to restrict airflow, trap heat, and cause the ears to get hot and sweaty, especially when worn during the warmer days of the year. Usage hours may be different depending on the settings or setup you chose and the codec of the music you are playing. We also recommended updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance.
We hope that you will shop Sony again in the future.

I had to buy two pairs because of a water related accident the first time and both times the headphones worked great (obviously before they went into a bag with an unsecured water bottle) The damaged pair I actually still use and keep with my computer, as the headphone jack still works even if the wireless part doesn't. The noise canceling is great, and the sound quality is even better. I prefer these over the more recent model.

My Husband Loves These!

He has hearing aids, and when he is on a plane trying to listen to a book or movie, he has to turn up the volume on his hearing aids so loudly to hear over the engine noise that he was afraid of further hearing damage. These headphones solve the problem! He can now hear what he wants to hear without threatening his hearing. I tried them on, on the plane and was absolutely amazed at how they drown out virtually all noise. They also fold so the case for them is not as big as I thought it would be. All in all, a great product!

The noise cancelling headphones do their job and I don't hear anything around me. I do just about anything with these on including workout and they don't slip or anything. I've had them for a while now and they have never failed me.

Everything I need in headphones

The headphones only recognize my voice so that's the only time the music stops. Otherwise noise cancelling does exactly what it supposed to. Now when speaking you won't be yelling at people because it does amplify the noise a little. You have the option to turn that feature off. The touch features are simple & easy to remember. All the options of being able to turn certain features off and on makes these headphones wonderful so you aren't stuck with the one size fits all experience. I also got a full charge extremely fast. The experience is well worth trying to understand how much there is to like about them.

Simply the Best

They have been good but they can not match the noise cancelling capability and sound quality of the Sony. I realize that sound quality can be subjective and that is where the Sony shines by offering the ability to personalize. Another feature of the Sony that was useful to me was the ability to perform clear, hands free calling. If you are looking for a high quality, customizable headset with great noise reduction, I would highly recommend the Sony. I’ll keep this review shirt, but I haven’t even mentioned the long battery life, quick charging, water resistance, and assistant functions.

I’ve had these headphones for about a month now and i’m absolutely in love with them. They’re super comfortable, have amazing sound quality, are great for long trips and bus rides (especially if you’re a student) have excellent noise cancellation, they rarely need to be charged, and it’s more than worth the price.

Solid Choice headphones

The noise cancelling is phenomenal, the ambient sound could be a little more clear. For comfort the longest I've worn was about 3 hours and they weren't too uncomfortable, even on freshly pierced ears. Battery life is really good, I use them for a couple hours a day just during homework and only have to charge about once a week.

Loves These Headphones

I’ve had audio products from several companies but I ended up going back to Sony. The sound quality is incredible and the noise cancelling works really well. I charge them on a regular basis but I really don’t need to with how long the battery lasts.
