Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, I’ve been wanting OTE headphones and after I watched multiple videos and read numerous articles, I decided to invest the Sony M4. Honestly, if I were in my 20s-40s I would probably give these headphones a 4/5 stars, but now that I’m 52 I want to listen to music for appreciation of the artistry and musical instruments more than the bass aspect. These remind me of Beats by Dre when they first were released. Heavy bass, but I want to hear the percussion, strings, harmonica. With that said most people will really enjoy these headphones, but for me I just couldn’t really enjoy my listening experience.

Sound quality and noise cancellation are good, but my headphones had issues with the connectivity, battery, and charging for months until one day they refused to charge altogether. Sony sent me a replacement pair, but this new pair still charges on and off, and, even worse, they randomly disconnect and WILL NOT CONNECT BACK. This has occurred a couple times now, and the headphones won’t even let me do a hard reset until the next day maybe. Such a waste of nearly $400. I would return them if I could.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Own this and the Bose QC35. In the first year of owning, worked great. ANC was great. Don't care for the speak-to-chat feature. This is slightly bulkier and "stiff" than the Bose headphones when worn. After 2 years, headphones started to make a loud, high-pitched noise. After researching, the band-aid for this is to switch from noise-canceling mode to ambient noise. This defeats the purpose of owning these headphones for me. Overall: Headphones worked great within the first year. But if you're looking for longevity, might want to look somewhere else. Sticking with the Bose which has been owned for 5 years at the time of this writing and no issues with functionality.

The headphones sound great 2. on a scale of 1-5 I give them a 4 on Noise Cancelling 3. I am forced to purchase additional software to receive the full potential these headphones offer, which if I had known, I probably would have gone with the Bose Buds, In fact I am heading over to purchase a pair now to do a comparison 4. It was very easy to obtain a 0% interest for 12 months thank you for your help

Programming is very cool in the app. Cons: after several "3 hours" pressure is felt needed break from it but a minute or 2 is all good again

Super great headphones, not the best for the gym.

The touch control panel is a bit annoying at times, and it doesn't seem to be adjustable but you are able to turn it off. I do wish it was a tad more noise cancelling. I primarily purchased these to use in the gym which wasn't the best use for them BUT I bought covers for the ears that allow me to workout in them without ruining them. Overall, I am very happy with these headphones and I would recommend spending the money on them if you're looking.

Amazing noise-cancelling and sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality from these is great over the wire and the noise-cancelling is as good as Bose. I took a flight seated right next to the engine on a 717 and as soon as the noise cancelling kicked on it was quiet enough to take a nap. My only complaint is the bluetooth doesn't always pick up calls correctly and I'll need to either reconnect or use speaker.
