The noise cancellation is also great. Ive barley had to charge them because of how great the battery life is.

Awesome audio & battery for music & travel

They're also super comfortable and the battery lasts a really long time. Amazing headset for travel. The -1 star comes from the fact that the mic only works via bluetooth, not the 3.5mm audio jack. So I can't use it for Xbox/PS gaming (requires wired connection to controller).

Amazing headphone!

Once I made minor adjustment to the Eq, the headphone really comes alive. I have custom settings for certain genre that can easily be swipe through within the app. In the beginning, head headphone had a strong clamp to my ears but after a few hours of use, it seem to have broken in. I had these on for hours While working and they felt comfortable, but my ears did get hot because the suction really cover my ears. The anc is out of this world. I don’t turn on the volume to high, maybe 20-25%. My wife was talking to me but couldn’t hear anything coming out of her mouth. :) I turn of the speak to chat feature when I am outside jogging. It seems to pick up some noises and activate the feature. This thing stays on pretty good while jogging. I would recommend turning up the ambient noise so you can hear incoming vehicles. Overall, I am really satisfied.

Simply the best

I watched a lot of video reviews before finally making the purchase and yeah they were all correct with their high praise of the XM4. The headphones come in 3 colors. I bought the black model. The headphone is light in weight and fits comfortably on my head and ears. The noise canceling works great. This should help with reducing the engine noise during airplane flights. There are a lot of cool tech packed into this headphone. Being able to connect to 2 bluetooth devices at the same time and the amazing 360-reality sound are just a couple. If you are not in a hurry, I would wait until the headphones go on sale to buy the XM4 which from what I have read occurs frequently. The XM4 is simply the best noise canceling headphones.

Sound Amazing but…

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had doing so much on what headphones would be best for me I’ve tested out almost every mainstream headphone the Bose , Beats , Apple & of course Sony I honest feel like these headphones sound the best out the box without Eq , the bass and tremble & balance it’s great for my eyes thr only issue I have with these headphones and maybe it’s most headphones is the comfort level I would give a 3out of 5 because the ear cushion is tight causes my ears get fatigued after long hours of use .Overall amazing headphones I would recommend especially when they are on sale !!!

Great headphones

I don’t hand out five stars easily but these headphones never cease to amaze me. They have more features than you could ever imagine. If you get stuck in a setting just Google how to get out of it by using the model number of the headphones. It has more settings than are listed in the instructions. These really keep the noise out and would be great on an airplane even in the noisiest seat. They charge in the blink of an eye and the charge lasts me for a week of viewing in the evenings at least. I haven’t had to charge them yet. I just wish the charging cord was longer than 3 inches. They really exceeded my expectations.

WH-1000XM4 Review

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Sound quality (9/10), build quality (9.5/10), long battery life (consistent ~30 hours on full charge), quick charging, being able to connect to 2 devices at once (so underrated if you use your phone and laptop back to back for the same tasks). Cons: The app has been buggy on and off for me (sometimes reactivated speak-to-chat in the settings after an update). The charger cable could've been longer. Sometimes, the touch interface mistook my tapping (pausing/resuming) as swiping (previous/next). Extra notes: At some point they were beeping for no reason, so I had to factory reset the headphones a few times (which did fix the issue). Do not use these for picking up phone calls or for voice chat! Summary: Very good headphones for students if you're only focused on the noise-canceling, audio quality, and build quality. However, the software is a bit buggy, so I would recommend trying them out when they're on sale and taking advantage of the return window if you're on the fence about them.

Best headphones I’ve ever had

These are the most comfortable and best sounding headphones I have tried. The touch controls are really interesting, the only major complaint is that some features can be counterintuitive.

Amazing!

The noise cancellation is also amazing. My favorite feature is definitely the pass through, being able to put your hand on the ear cup and hear others around you is so useful, especially since I am in a busy household. I love how they come with a carrying case, and fold!!! A lot of headphones now do not fold which is wild to me. Easy to transport, and store, oh and the battery life is awesome!
