    I've tried a lot of headsets in my day. I used the Bose headsets for a long time, it was not too bad. The Bose headset lasted a long time, but they new Sony ones are way better in terms of performance. Why not give it 5 stars. For one the ear holes are small for my ears and the noise-cancelling could be better. The sound is awesome, but for long flights your ears will hurt a bit and the you will still hear people snoring next to you.

      Hi JDiaz, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. While we're glad you are happy with the sound quality, we're quite sad that you are not fully impressed with the noise-canceling feature. With the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, check the setting of [Ambient Sound Control]. If it is set to [Wind Noise Reduction] or [Ambient Sound], the effect of noise canceling is reduced. Set it to the noise canceling mode. Please check this link for more details:

    Bought these for my daughter for over the year headphones she had an older pair that finally went out. She had them for years. We replaced them with these because she researched all the Sony headphones and these among the best after she got them, she absolutely fell in love with them and uses them constantly

    I never had own such an amazing pair of headphones until I purchased these!! I love how comfortable they sit whether I’m working out!! It’s hard to find headphones that won’t hurt your ears after a long period of time and I’m glad Sony was able to reach my expectations!! 10/10

    These were very comfortable overall and the performance was not horrible, they left quite a lot to be desired at this price point. In short, the maximum volume is far too low, the sony equalizer app helps but, unless you're an audiologist its "What does this button do?", and lastly the active or adaptive noise cancelation let a ton of environmental noise in. Even its more restrictive setting. I returned and bought another Bose 700.

      We're glad that you like the comfort of the headphones. It's unfortunate that you were not completely satisfied because of the volume and Adaptive Sound Control. For optimum performance, it is recommended to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). The overall volume may vary depending on the source content. You do have the option to adjust the volume of the headphones and connected device. The Adaptive Sound Control is designed to automatically adjust the noise canceling function by behavior recognition. You can turn this function off if the noise canceling function becomes insufficient.
