Blocks out family noises. Especially since we are all home during pandemic. I love that I can touch one speaker and it will mute the music and I can say hi to someone quickly and then when I let go the music resumes. I don’t have to find phone and stop music or take them off. What a great feature. Amazing product.

Worth the money! Noise canceling is awesome. Pretty scary when commuting though because I couldn't hear anything outside of the headphones.

They slip off my head a lot and collect a lot of moisture from sweat, even though I wipe them off every time if needed.

GREAT headphones, though. Excellent sound & great noise cancelling. Sorry to waste employee time returning and restocking but wasn't letting a $100 savings go.

The phone app to adjust settings can sometimes be a bit clunky to use and while the sound quality is fine for streaming music etc, the noise cancellation isn't quite as good in certain settings.

We are so sorry if these headphones didn't fit you well. The WH-1000XM4 has a self-adjusting headband and soft cushioned earcups that cover the whole ear. For the best method to fit the headphones, please refer to the following:
• Check the left and right units of the headset.
- There is a tactile dot on the (left) mark side.
• Extend the slider to its full length before putting on the headset.
• Put on the headset with the earpads fitting snugly over your ears.
• Adjust the slider to a length where the headband touches the top of your head.
• Adjust the orientation of the left and right units so that the earpads fit snugly all around your ears.
• If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort or a weak noise canceling effect.

I do notice that they get my hears pretty warm and sore if you wear them for a prolonged amount of time. My advice is if you are looking for headphones that creates a great seal and you aren't planning on wearing them for a long period of time, get these. I used them on a flight from detroit to tampa and I didnt keep them on the entire time because of ear fatigue. Also the touch controls arent the best

Fit Is Too Tight And App Is Awful - Try Them On

When working properly the sound is great, the microphone also works well. The problem is when I get on an online meeting these disconnect and reconnect and do all kinds of weird things. The app does fix some problems, but I often have to reconnect to my phone and then reset junk in the app then reconnect to my PC. The headphones fit entirely too tightly on my head, and I end up with headaches from it. They also feel cheap and flimsy, and I feel like they're going to break at any moment. I wish I could go back to exchange them for something different. These are by far the worst Sony products I've owned.

The black Friday price and extended return policy made me go for it. I love these for my music, great range. The controls are simple. And i keep this paired to my phone, taking phone calls is easy. Clear. Reluanle. I get 40ft range easily. Superb sound, which really is the most important thing.

My only regret is that I did not buy them sooner. I love the noise cancellation and the touch controls on the right ear. The speak feature that lowers the volume and turns off ANC for a period of time is awesome, but it is not for me. If I respond and just say yea to someone it activates. Great feature, just not for me.
