This is not the usual case with our XM4. We recommend to try and adjust the headband of your XM4 to the desired fit but it will not hurt your head or ears. Comfortable and High Quality but lacks Bass

Noise canceling is really good to the point that I won’t even notice if someone is talking right next to me. Bluetooth works perfect with my iPhone. I bought these to use for recording music and must admit that the bass response isn’t the best. For this reason I took off a star.
