VERY good noise cancelation

However using with my PC bluetooth the sound goes in and out. Some say because of my WiFi interference so far cant use it anymore and went back to wired again ;(

Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions.
When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device
In this case, put the Bluetooth device in the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.
There is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.
The WH-1000XM4 is a new design, with intelligent and intuitive Ambient Sound Control features that include improvements to Multipoint connection and our industry-leading Noise Cancelation, exceptional sound quality, and Smart Listening that adjusts to your behavior and location. The noise canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. Broken: High Pitched Ringing in Right Ear Cup

High pitched ringing noise in the right ear cup that is so loud that it could cause damage to your ear. I strongly suggest you getting a warranty from where you buy them because this really sucks. I tried all the tricks on their site to fix them, none worked.

Also, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology, there may be a delay in audio playback when viewing videos. Also, a slight delay occurs in the receiving end when making calls or during music playback. I like to hear all frequencies at a higher level. These did not live up to my expectations in the bass department.

Unfortunately, Clear bass is not available for WH1000XM4. You may adjust the bass from the audio source instead.

Now on to the bad: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SURROUND SOUND. had this feature on my XM2s but now the new thing is “360 reality audio” which only works with deezer or tidal. sony is making a big deal out of something that such a small amount of people can use. The app is garbage. crashes when installing the firmware update, randomly sends notifications about ambient sound being turned on AFTER I HAD ALREADY TURNED IT OFF. Sony really could’ve just kept some popular features with the headphones but nope a multibillion dollar company just needs more money.

For the notifications, you have the option to disable the notifications of the WH-1000XM4 Sony Headphones Connect app under the [Notification & Voice Guide] please check our help guide link: https://support.am.sony.com/release/Help_Connect_4730254137.pdf page 48.
For the Headphones Connect app crashing, please try to clear cache and clear the data of the application, please see the manual of your smart device tablet or phone on how to clear the cache and data. If the issue still occurs, please try to uninstall the app and reinstall it again.
