Let me first say that these headphones are super nice. They are great quality and super lightweight and comfortable. The sound quality and the compatibility with the app is also great. However, I did unfortunately have to return them. I have really sensitive ears and the noise cancellation would start to cause immediate ear pain. I tried changing the settings and the noise cancellation still caused pain to my sensitive ears. I do still recommend these even though they didn’t work out for me personally. But if you do have sensitive ears you may want to try out the noise cancellation in store before you purchase to make sure you don’t have the same issue I did.

Noise cancelling is not quite as good as the WH1000XM5, but the sound is on par, if not better, they feel more sturdy, collapse smaller into the case, and (for me at least), they are more comfortable when wearing for long periods of time (ie several hours). I compared a lot of wireless over the ear noise cancelling headphones from Beats, Bose, Sony, JBL, Apple, and SkullCandy. Sound wise, these rated towards the top of the list, clear strong bass, matched evenly with the mid and highs, easily adjustable in the app when using with your phone, and sound great connected to my PC, which I use them with most of the time for work (both listening to music and for zoom or teams meetings) for 4-8 hours a day.

I bought this to replace an old sony headphone. this new one is better in every way. The noise cancelling is great and dampens unwanted sounds. The battery life is good as well. It also very comfortable. Time will tell with its reliability, but its lasted over year and still works great.

These headphones along with the app are a complete experience and I would highly recommend them! Noise Canceling- As someone who is very sensitive to ambient noise, the noise cancellation features are really important to me. There are 20 levels of ambient sound controls, a wind reduction control, and a full noise cancellation control. You can let the app auto-switch what level based on what activity you are currently doing (running/sitting) or based on your current location. You can also control this manually. Battery Life- the battery life is incredible! I use these headphones every day all day. I legitimately use them 16-18 hours a day. Sometimes I forget to charge them overnight, and can use them the next day with a quick charge during lunch!!! I was impressed that not only could the battery actually last as long as advertised but they were comfortable to wear for such an extended period of time. Sound-The sound quality is excellent. You have the ability to set the equalizer depending on what you're listening to and personal preference, plus three custom modes. I'm not a loud listener but these headphones get LOUD!!! There are all kinds of features to completely customize and adapt the way you want what you're listening to feel and hear like.

Omg what a master piece these headphones are. Very comfortable you feel as you if you are not wearing them, very light in weight. Sound quality is exceptional. Noise cancellation performance is excellent. I almost wear this 8hr a day when I work and it’s easy when you are in meetings, and when you are off meetings it’s blocks the background noise and gives an additional level of comfort to your ears and you’ll not be distracted easily.

I've been wearing Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones, which sound great, but I needed something wireless and more feature rich for work use. I ordered the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones based on a co-workers recommendation, and I am very glad I did. Sound - The audio quality is great for both voice and music. My HD280s are described as having a neutral audio profile, which is good for my studio use. The WH-1000XM4s have a more full profile to my ears, with a bit more bass and mid range. I like the audio profile, but it's easily adjustable if you don't. Comfort - These are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I have a large head (size 8) and these fit me fine. My ears get hot with the HD280s, but I have no problem wearing these all day (with a few breaks). Features - I found the app awkward at first, but managed to find everything I need. I remapped the custom button to turn Ambient Sound on and off, which is helpful in my home office environment. I also like the dual Bluetooth connectivity. This allows me to easily toggle between my work laptop and my phone audio. Overall, I highly recommend these headphones. They are expensive, but I feel they do their job very well.

I’ve been using these for a couple months, I switched from AirPods to these so that I could go to the gym and not have my headphone fall out. I unfortunately haven’t gone to the gym yet to try them out but I can say these are a bit more technical than I thought. Maybe it’s just me, but the app is weird and I don’t think the sound quality is as good, bass is great and to be able to change the sound quality to what your listening too is cool. They are quaint and cute! I would recommend them, sony has been around for a long time and they make quality products. I recommend these. Battery life is out of this world, I use them off and on for a week each day and everytime I come back it has battery and the Bluetooth is okay, it won’t connect right away which I dislike anddd I can’t use Siri

I absolutely love these headphones. I was looking for a great noise cancellation/music specific over the head headphones, and everything I searched said these Sony headphones where the real deal. I can only agree. Very comfortable on the head. The battery life is really surprising me in a good way. Lasting forever. Great sound quality and noise cancellation. If you are willing to spend the money these are the headphones for you.

So I have never owned a set of noise cancelling headphone before and was very surprised at how well they work. They wirelessly connect to my phone and I can easily be in the next room without any issues. I can go a couple of weeks on a single charge (with occasional listening) and have even let them sit for a couple of weeks without use and then just used them without charging. Very comfortable as well.

These headphones have excellent sound and an adjustable EQ. The noise cancellation is the best I’ve heard. The headphones are comfortable as well, though the top of my head is sensitive so I do find myself needing to adjust where headband sits on my head periodically if I wear the headphones for several hours at a time, but probably less so than other similar headphones due to these being very light weight.

I love it, it's been years since I've had a headphone upgrade and my biggest complaints about my previous device were that it was too heavy and the noise cancelling was uncomfortable. Both issues are virtually non-existent here. These are super super light and comfortable and the noise cancelling doesn't have that weird suction feeling some headphones have. Honestly for the price these are the best headphones money can buy.

There’s an issue with these headphones that I can’t let slide, the Bluetooth 2-way audio sucks. If you like talking to your friends while gaming, the game will sound terrible. 99c earphones sound better than that. This is the same issue my $25 headset has, I did not expect this same one to arise in $300+ headphones. I’ve heard Bluetooth audio can be pretty bad in general, but I was hoping for it to be better. I wish I was aware of this issue before purchasing. Besides that, these are comfortable for people who have glasses, noise canceling is good, and the sound is great, battery lasts long.

I have used these for a bit now and they're absolutely fantastic. The Audio quality is fantastic. You'll be surprised at how amazing music sounds and you just want to listen to every song you know so you can see how it sounds now. It is super comfortable, has a good battery life, and comes with a great case. My only complaint would be the build quality as it feels a bit cheap

I really love these headphones after eight months of use. Easy to pair, great sound, supremely comfortable even with my glasses (this frames though). If something happened to mine I'd buy another pair, no questions. I use them with a variety of devices (iPhone, MacBook, Sony X900H TV, Switch) and appreciate that they include the option to run a wired cable. Battery life is strong, too.

Connects to both my laptop and phone at the same time. The noise cancelling is fantastic. Music quality is great. The comfortability is great too. I can wear this for a good 4 hours or so and not be uncomfortable. Like most headphones they do get warm so you do have to take them off get a breather. The battery life is fantastic. The only downside I have is when connected by wire, the headphones do have their bluetooth connection turned off. So if you are connected to a xbox controller you can't connect to your phone over bluetooth. But other then that they are great.

I don't usually write reviews, but the experience I've had with these warrant writing a review. Buyer beware. Pros: (when they work): Unmatched noise cancellation Decent call quality Most comfortable pair of headphones I've worn. I often use them 10 - 12 hours a day in the office. Great app and features Really good sounding with music, with customizations through the EQ. If you have a device that supports LDAC, higher quality wireless audio Great battery life Cons: Quality, Quality, Quality! It took three pairs of headphones initially before I got one that worked correctly (the first two pairs failed within the 30 day return window). My 3rd pair has recently developed a nasty bug that requires a warranty replacement. That's 4 pairs of headphones *in one year* I work in an open office plan, and these are my go-to headphones for comfort, noise cancellation and making calls. If they weren't soooo good when they work, I would have abandoned these long ago. Prior to owning these, I used the Sony WH-1000xm3 headphones for almost two years. That entire time I didn't have any issues, and they were still in great shape after 2 years. I wish Sony could figure out the quality issue on these. When they work, they are the greatest wireless headphones I've every used. However, when they glitch they aren't using even if they were provided at no cost. It's the Best and Worst experience all in a single pair of headphones.

By far the best headphones I’ve ever owned. I’ve always had issue with headphone hurting my ears but these never cause the issue. You can wear them for hours and still have the same comfort. I love the color too it’s this beautiful midnight. Like a rainy Seattle. Also if you go to the gym often I would always have my headphones slide off but these are so form fitting where they don’t. I love these. You won’t regret buying they will forever be my favorite. I LOVE MY SONYSS!!!

These headphones are perplexingly good. They have amazing sound quality that you can adjust to fit your needs with the app that these absolute gems use. They have a hard shell case unlike there older brother the XM5’s which comes with a soft shell one. They’re very nice and out of the way to carry around and the bass is in your hands because you can adjust it however you want. If you’re on the fence about buying this item and it’s on sale just buy it, you will NOT regret it one bit!
