Killer value, great features, no reason to buy xm5

There is no reason to buy the xm5, they didn’t make enough upgrades to justify the cost. Buy these and save the money. These are the best consumer grade headphones in their price category. I am a professional audio engineer and the sound quality and ANC is second to none without buying into a much higher tier.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously had the 3rd model and decided to buy this one to replace my temporarily JBL Project Rock headphones. It's literally almost the same as the 3rd version with some adjustments made to it. Such adjustment would be the headphone would pause when you start to talk instead of putting your hands over the earcups. It'll also turn off when not in use for a certain amount of time. I would probably hold off buying the lateat version, if you're tight on money.

Excellent battery life. Bad for multitasking. Sound gets distorted and tinny if trying to use while 2 audio sources are active, for example playing a game and also in a discord voice channel or watching youtube while in a discord voice channel.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I had the XM3s and I loved those headphones. Used them every day while I was on the computer. Only reason why I upgraded was because I had the protection plan, so doing a swap was no problem. Got these boys on and the sound is great, the new proximity sensor is an amazing add, the ANC is the best, Bluetooth 5.0 is a must nowadays, connecting to two devices is so handy, the Type-C charging is top tier, and having access to either Google Assistant or Alexa is beyond convenient. The reason why there's an asterisk in my title is because of comfort. Because of my weirdly shaped head and ears, these headphones are not comfortable. And I only had them on for the evening. I can't see myself using these guys from the morning until three in the morning. No way. It's a shame, too. I was extremely excited to own these but alas, they are not meant for me. Comfort aside, they're still stellar headphones. Nothing beats the ANC

I also had the MX3s, but the LDAC support makes these stand out for me. The notice cancellation blocks out my tractor or blower effectively, would not be caught without it. I did not expect them to provide the best audio quality but their configurable flexibility makes them decent. I have other headphones and amps I use for audiophile-level audio quality, but these are perfect for what I use them for.

I never like going out but with the headphone and music on, it’s awesome! My workout is so regular with this, can’t take it off my ears lol.So perfect to keep my surrounding aware and definitely the quality of music is so good!! The touch controls never want me to reach for my phone to change music or to control sound. It’s a Must have!!

Can switch automatically from phone to laptop making it great for work 2. Noise cancellation is great 3. Nice humble look that looks good anywhere 4. Automatically pauses when you speak if you want 5. You can put your hand on the headphones to have a conversation without removing the headphones. 6. Great case design Cons 1. Auto switch between phone and laptop is not refined and will interrupt a teams meeting if you get a call on your phone. (There may be a setting I am not aware of to stop this) 2. If you have it set to pause when you speak, it can mistake other noises and pauses at random. If you are in a loud environment or tend to think out loud this setting should be turned off 3. The can be uncomfortable after long periods of time. 4.

These things are just wonderful. the ability to be in your own world while listening to music or watching movies is unprecedented. the best time I had with this is when I took an air trip to Europe. the ability to not hear noise and just sleep was awesome... I also like the additional features in the cans such as the equalizer, push to talk and also multiple devices link up...
