But I also upgraded from LogiTech ones, so I was bound to like them. I mean every one already knows that they are the best sound quality and noise cancellation out there. But I wanted to talk about other features, it can connect to multiple bluetooth sources of audio, so you could go from listening to music on your phone to attending a meeting on your pc seamlessly. This feature is pretty good for me, since I work from home. Also picking up calls on the phone, the microphone is amazing.

The XM4 reviews said this problem was fixed, so when Best Buy had these on sale I decided to try them. The XX4 is better than the 35IIs in bluetooth device switching (almost instant as opposed to switching in app). Tonal range is better, noise cancelling is better and more adjustable and the equalizer setting in the app are great - only con is the ear cushions require more placement adjustment to be comfortable

I tried them out at the behest of an employee and was instantly converted. The sound quality and noise cancellation are incredible. I cannot recommend these enough. The only minor gripe is you need to tinker with the setting about auto-cancel of noise cancelling.

Prefer Bose QC45

Why? -Way too hot and ear fatigue after 1 hour Zoom meeting. QC45s perfectly comfortable for recent 3 hour flight. -does not seamlessly pair with multiple devices. So much fiddling with Bluetooth controls to pair and re-pair between devices. Unlike QC45s, which pair seamlessly and immediately. -touch controls not very responsive. Best feature is holding hand over ear to pause music but I can live without that. -sound quality is good, but so is sound from QC45. -noise canceling is perfect but so is qc45.

Adjusting the headband and the earpads properly can help reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones. Multipoint is a function which allows you to connect 2 Bluetooth devices to the headset and use one device for music playback (A2DP connection) and the other for calls. Making sure that software is updated as it includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements and multipoint connection is turned on using the Sony Headphone|Connect app may help resolved the issue. While the audio performance is definitely impressive, I’ve been experiencing consistent ear pain whenever I use the headphones. After wearing them for even a short period, my ears start to feel uncomfortable, and the pressure becomes hard to ignore. I tried adjusting the fit several times, but the discomfort remains, making it difficult to enjoy the music or wear the headphones for longer sessions. Unfortunately, despite their excellent technical features, the lack of comfort has been a major drawback for me. Overall, the Sony WH-1000XM4 may work well for many users, but if you’re sensitive to ear pressure or tight-fitting ear cups, you might face similar discomfort. I’m disappointed because I really wanted to like these headphones, but the ear pain makes it hard to recommend them.

Good sound Great battery life CONS No charger, really SONY not charger? I had to go buy one. Short cords, I had to go out and spend more money on cords. Case only fits headphones if you shrink it down to the min size. Great headphones. They are the best I have seen for noise cancellation. But Sony cheaped out on the accessories which is why it isn't a 5 star. They probably saved $5 per headphone but made me spend $15 to get accessories that actually worked. I didn't like the phone app because it needed data access to get all the features working and I don't get data all the time.

I use these to travel on flights and at work. Love love love, but store them in their original case to preserve them. NFC is nice, the touch sensitive buttons are handy too. I'd recommend using the app to set a custom setting for the best sound balance.

The primary upgrade for these is voice calls are much better! Mic works excellently now where before it was just average. Also the dual Bluetooth functionality is great to connect to phone and laptop to use for music and work calls/Teams Calls. Battery life is awesome!

Of all the comments that have been said about being not enough this, not able to do that, I think they are all untrue or either an unlucky manufacturing defect. Launch products are not perfect from the start, it's bound to happen. The only thing I do not use are the microphones for making calls, so you can check online and see for yourself about that aspect.
