The only reason I give 4 stars rather than 5 is because of the stuffiness. After a while, they do get very hot to wear, especially in comparison to the Bose 700. But the ANC and sound quality are superb.

Check band size

Not as great on the bass as some headphones but way better on noise canceling. If you have a head on the smaller size these headphones may not fit. I do not have to extend at all and they are a bit loose.

Pairing problems with Headphones

So, I bought this new set of the same phones and with the help of Sony technicians, paired it with my Sony 55" TV. But, now it thinks it has two devices connected, even though I have placed the original set in a box in my basement. So, it bounces from one to the other.

We are sorry to hear you are having an issue connecting your Sony headphones with your BRAVIA TV. If you are seeing the list of devices to connect to, the TV is just displaying the name of the devices that had been paired with the TV. It does not necessarily mean that the TV is detecting 2 WH1000XM4 headphones. If you cannot delete the list of paired devices on your BRAVIA, you can just rename the device name of your headphones by connecting them with your smartphone and go to Bluetooth settings -> paired devices -> Edit device name. Once done, pair your headphones with your BRAVIA again. Thank you for your 5-star review despite the issue you are having. Sounds Great but Can Hurt

You may be experiencing a symptom called listener fatigue. That is where your eardrums work hard to manage the volume that flows through your ear canal. The louder the volume, the bigger the strain on your eardrums, which then causes the feeling of fatigue. Try lowering the volume or take a break from wearing them for a while. The longer you wear headphones, the more your ears may hurt. You may need to limit your headphone usage.
