Comfortable, easy to use, great sound and the noise canceling is soooo sweet. I just took a flight and now I gotta buy a pair for my wife. You can listen at low volume during a flight and not miss a thing. I almost went with the Bose QC II but I’m really glad I didn’t. Everyone says they’re more comfortable, but I’ve got a pretty big melon and I can rock these for 4-5hours while studying no problem. Just get them. Only con is they drop the Bluetooth every now and then. Whatever, takes 10 seconds to reconnect and get back on my way and it’s not often enough to really bother me.

Slight improvement over last gen Sony XM3

Otherwise nearly identical to XM3 in sound, fit & finish, and tech- which is a good thing!

beautiful design and premium sound

Online they look more pinkish, and I really didn't want that. But in person its a much more premium stone grey collor with nice gold accents. It looks less feminine in person than it does online. Probably the best noise cancelling. I can't hear a thing and the multidevice connect is nice because i can have both of my pcs connected to the headphones at the same time. Sony's app is really helpful too as you can have every device there so you can quickly jump to all of them when you need to. The battey life though is the best, especially since i am always forgetting to charge up my stuff i don't have to worry with these

Noise cancelation and battery is pretty impressive. Can do without the touch buttons, the slightest bump pauses, skips... the music/Video.

Worth the Buy

The sound quality is clear and high quality; very well balanced headphones so far. Wearing them for an extended time is not much of a problem when it comes to comfort. The noise canceling feature is great for being in your own little world while listening to audio. This is also an amazing alternative to the more expensive, higher end headphones out there.

Excellent quality, ideal for travellers

I tested them side by side with the XM5s and honestly I prefer these, for sound quality. The noise cancellation is good, maybe not as good as the XM5s but still much better than my in-ear buds-live. I used them for about 5-6 hours at airports and on planes and they handled airport and plane noises well, with a brief loss of cancellation during plane landings, so no big deal. The battery stayed almost fully charged too, so these guys are no joke, unbeatable for frequent flyers!

It doesn’t get any better than this

Had a chance to try everything at it and it just works. Sound and noise cancelling is tops in its class. The only thing I would knock is possibly the build quality (it is light for a reason). However, that could also be a positive because you can wear these for hours and hours and not have to worry about fatigue. I had fatigue issues with a Bowers & Wilkins set I use to have. The best build quality of them all, but it was a bit heavier. As long as you take care of these Sony cans, use the case always for storage, you shouldn’t have a problem. Enjoy these. Sony just keeps getting better and better.

Flawlessly amazing

However I believe they are still a little pricey for the average person. Regardless, if you have the spare money to use on these you won't regret it.

Best headphones I've ever bought!

My only complaint from it not being perfect is the bass. I have played around with the app settings for the equalizer and can't quite get it to my liking. I listen to a wide range of music (from hip-hop to rock). I had a previous set of Sony headphones that were very bass heavy but the overall clarity of those were trash. These hands down blow them out of the water. Since the weather is getting colder, will see how the touch controls work outside. I know the XM3 had issues with the touch controls. Hopefully don't follow in the same footsteps. Oh yeah, another thing on these being perfect. Phone calls on these are crap. I've only had 2 calls on them and both of those were horrible. Both ends sounded like we were lost in a tunnel. Not sure if it was my end or the other person. Perhaps an update will fix this. Not a big deal because I don't use these for phone calls really anyway. Mostly for working out and casual listening. Besides those 2 complaints, I would definitely recommend these!
