Excellent noise cancelling and stable bluetooth

However, AirPods Pro sometimes disconnects while a meeting that I struggled with. Sony WH-100MX4 has a better noise cancelling and over-the-ear style that doesn't harm to my ear, so I could use it for a long time in a day. In addition, Bluetooth connection to my mac is very stable. I never encounter unknown-disconnection. Overall, I'm very happy to use this product and keep use it while a meeting.

Big bang for your buck

Otherwise the sound is amazing as it the noise cancelling feature. Very comfortable, as well.

Nice and Comfortable

They are very light and comfortable to wear for those long airline flights or just watching movies at home. I was surprised to find that I can connect them to my TV for the best surround sound experience when watching movies. The noise cancelling works really well, I often times do not hear people talking to me when I have them on. The case if very compact and sturdy.

If you find the bass slightly lacking, you can easily customize the audio profile in the Sony | Headphones Connect app. Go to the Sound tab and use the Equalizer settings; you can either select the "Bass Boost" preset or, for the best results, use the custom EQ and increase the horizontal Clear Bass slider, which is specifically designed to add low-end punch without distorting the overall sound.

Worth the money

Battery life was exactly as advertised, and maybe longer if not using bluetooth. Noise cancelling performance was great, although I don't have experience with the current XM5, so I can't compare.

Clear, crsip, music with plenty of bass for most types of music. Wouldnt recomended if you only listen to rap. Mostly using it for pop, kpop, jpop, jazz. 80s and 90s. Build quality weak. Made of plastic, not expecting to last more than 2.5 years. Previous sony headphones broke at the swivel by the ear piece. Nice carry case, great battery life, decent noise canceling especially on flights. Slighty pricey, look for a sale and handle the product with care.

They recently released the XM5s which apparently have slightly better noise-cancelling and quality but honestly for the price(especially during a sale) you can't go wrong with these!

The noise cancelling is really good, and like the option to have it wired as well. You will want to mess with the settings on the mobile app as well as it will help control some of the features that can be useful at times, and other times not what you want at the time like speak to pause feature. Some people might not like this if they don't want to use the app or using the touch panel to control the headphones.
