It was a richer clearer sound. A single charge lasts awhile. My only complaint would be I also have Samsung buds pro, and i like that when i start talking it lowers the sound and starts back playing soon unlike these that take longer.

Better than my Bose 35’s sound and noise canceling

If you want better than average noise canceling, and some good control over how to listen to your music with the App, a good bass boost, and 360 audio sound. These do the job with a great battery life for all day listening.

The sound is excellent. The Bass is not heavy. Worth the price. I know the 1000XM5 is out but I can't imagine it being that better than what they have already made. The battery is great.

I had to use the eq to clear up a few things, and the app was kinda buggy until recently. Overall great value, and you will not be disappointed. I miss some of the functionality because I have an iPhone, but overall I’m happy with them. They do get warm around the ears after about an hour or so for me, but I have yet to find a super comfortable over the ear headphone. Don’t like the touch controls, or the custom button.

They work as advertised. The volume control on the right earcup needs a little work but they are quite satisfying. I would recommend them over the apple iPods max as the max is much heavier. The app works very well. Noise canceling is very good.

Not Enough Volume for Home Theater

I bought these to use with my home theater to be able to watch movies with loud special effects so I don't disturb my neighbors. Unfortunately, these were volume limited and did not go any louder than where I have to keep my volume now. Plus, there was a noticeable delay when I was watching streaming services.

For the audio delay, please try the following steps to remedy the issue:
Update Firmware: Ensure that your headphones are updated to the latest firmware version. This can sometimes improve performance and reduce latency.
Use a Wired Connection: If possible, use a wired connection instead of Bluetooth. This will eliminate the delay entirely.

Excellent noise canceling headset

The build quality is sturdy, but very lightweight. Battery lasts a long time, at least 15 hours on a charge. I really like the companion app which allows you to personalize and fine tune the noise cancellation/ pass-through audio settings.

Again, if sound is all you care about, these are great noise cancelling headphones that sound fantastic. Now for the issues. These headphones have a few quality of life features. For example, if you're wearing them and you begin walking, it'll turn off noise cancelling. Sometimes. If you tap the right headphone, it'll pause. Sometimes. If you take off your headphones it'll pause your media automatically. Sometimes. There are some great features though a lot of them are unreliable. These features can be turned off via the headphones app if it annoys you. Overall, a solid pair of headphones. I give a thumbs up.

Super comfortable & top of the line ANC

Fit is comfortable. Only knock is the ambient sound for me sometimes doesn’t register quickly enough and I find myself having to pause music to hear someone speaking with me.

These work particularly well when one is playing music. And the quality of the speakers is very good. But just in case you think that these will cancel noise effectively without playing music - like if you want to do homework or something else and just block out noise - don't, because that won't happen. All in all, a great set of earphones though, and good value for the money.

For optimum performance, make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). You may also find these steps helpful:
-Set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode using the Sony Headphones Connect app.
-Remove any obstacles between the antenna of the connecting Bluetooth device and the built-in antenna of the headset.
-Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions:
>When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device. In this case, put the Bluetooth device in the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.
>When there is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
>In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.
>Where there are other wireless communication audio devices or other people nearby, such as in train station premises or on a crowded train.

Resetting and initializing the headset may also help resolve those issues:
Resetting the headset
-Press both the (power) button and the CUSTOM button simultaneously while charging. The headset will be reset. The device registration (pairing) information is not deleted.
If the headset does not operate correctly even after resetting, initialize the headset to restore factory settings.
Initializing the headset
-Turn off the headset while the USB Type-C cable is disconnected and then press and hold the (power) button and the CUSTOM button simultaneously for 7 seconds or more. The indicator (blue) flashes 4 times, and the headset is initialized. This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the headset from the device and then pair them again.
