Living on EZ street with these

My use case mainly being to focus on my schoolwork with my SO watches TV next to me. Where I cannot hear the TV unless an action scene is occuring.

Great ANC headphones!

I've been eyeing the XM5's for several month and watching the price on them, but these went on sale for what I considered an unbeatable price of $200, so I decided to pull the trigger on these for now. I'm not typically the guy who buys the older version of anything when there is the "new and improved" model to get, but I couldn't pass this deal up. For the price, these cans are awesome, and I wish that I hadn't waiting so long to buy them. These will be my go-to for music listening and traveling from this point forward! if you're on the fence about getting these, you should give them a try!

Even better than the mighty Bose 700

In my opinion, the Sony's are just as comfortable, seem to have better sound quality (especially with bass response), and slightly better noise cancellation...though I haven't tried out the various adaptive modes. Most importantly, they maintain a stable bluetooth connection to my devices.

I usually buy the Apple Beats headphones, but these are so much better in every way— physically, functionally, and musically. Plus, the noise cancellation feature is absolutely OP. I got this headphone discounted and definitely worth the purchase. Only complaint is that the earmuffs are a little big, but I think it’s a small price to pay.

Sounds great w/ PlayStation 5 but...

While as of right now they will not sync up via Bluetooth they do plug in to the PS5 controller. They have an app you can put on your phone to customize the way they sound. 3D audio is amazing. You can hear an enemy’s breath. Birds in the distance. Phenomenal headphones! Maybe Sony could step up their game in the future and make these compatible for Bluetooth sync in a future PS5 update?... Hope they will anyway. The headphones are the best I’ve ever owned.

Great Premium Headset

For the price, these are great. Sure, you can pay more for QC45’s or AirPod Max’s, but for 95% of users this would be more than satisfied with these compared to other premium noise canceling headsets. The only benefit that the QC45s hold over these is the more neutral sound out of the box. With a bit of tweaking, I got these to the same level (they came a bit too bass heavy as a default).

Good but not perfect

First, the "cabin pressure" that I feel when wearing them is a noticeable thing, and when I first started wearing them it made me dizzy after about an hour. However as I used them more I got over that dizziness. Second, the earpads are a little small so my ears are always touching the inner part of the ear cup, and because of that my ears start hurting after about 30 minutes of use. It's not too bad, so I keep using them, but it still hurts and I would rather it not. Other than that they sound great and cancel out a lot of background noise. I am really happy with my purchase!

When you wear the headset over a cap, a scarf, hair, etc., wearing detection may not work properly, and the touch sensor control panel may not be available for operation. Wear the headset so that your ears are inside the earpads. The longer you wear headphones, the more your ears may hurt. You may need to limit your headphone usage.

Absolutely Superb

I was debating between these and the Bose QC45s. After scouring the internet reading reviews, I decided on these because of the ANC, the looks, and the touch capabilities. I have not been disappointed. I love the design, the feel, and all the bells and whistles. The app on the phone also offers way more control than the Bose app. You will not regret buying these over the Bose until Bose releases their next model.
